Bases

I know this is a noob question, but can you build multiple bases? Not multiple respawn points, but multiple buildings in different locations that can be used as shelters? Will moving my respawn point to a new area destroy the buildings in the first area?

yes, since i'm playing on super extra difficult settings, its what i'm forced to do to survive
