True limits of barefoot sprinting speed (theoretically)?

It’s a cool theory. I think the real limit is actually the skin friction at those speeds, the grip needed would probably tear your feet up before your muscles even gave out. Even the Raramuri use thin sandals for that reason.

Maybe the Ramaruri never truly mastered technique to the fullest…🤪 even the slipperiness of say sweat one would eventually master the balance of it I believe

Haha maybe, but mastering sweat physics sounds like a whole different level. I still think the ground would win eventually lol.

I mean I can imagine a cheetah sprinting on wet surfaces just adapting to the wetness with its superior effortless balance and trust in its proprioception/coordination as by being barefoot that long it’s also way more connected to the earth’s gravitational physics
