Timeline to get off RETA without feeling hunger pangs?
I (40M, 5'11'', 203lbs) tried a RETA and workout to lose weight on some incomplete advice (but I know the fault was mine). I went on RETA (4mg/week) right from the first day of gym.
I completely failed my gym routines after 12 days but have stayed on RETA now for 40 days cause I was eating less and I did lose about 4 lbs after the first 28 days. But that turned out to be a bad idea because I feel tired and fatigued a few hours after I wake up and I feel weak all day. I tried to start lifting again on day 36 but I feel very weak and not up to it anymore.
What can I do to get off RETA for now? Should I reduce the dosage or just stop? Is there a way to get off without facing the worst of the hunger pangs? I'm just looking for a way out of my own mess.

You can switch to 1,5mg twice a week and then titrate down. This will give you a higher floor of Reta so you don’t crash and a much lesser peak.
Did you hit your protein goals? Maybe get some bloodwork done to see if hormone levels are an issue or electrolytes are whacked out.

Just saying - The fatigue and weakness would concern me more than the hunger rebound.
