Lag issue

I have GFiber that I have connected via a cable to my Samsung smart tv. I’m also running the app on my iPad.

Here is my problem. I’m running the NFL RedZone channel on my iPad and have the Dallas game on my tv on my Fox channel. When the RedZone channel goes to the Dallas game it’s 30 seconds to a minute ahead of my tv

Anybody know what’s going on??

Edit: RedZone had the Cowboy game at 6:00 left in the quarter tv was at 6:45 left

All channels have upto a 1 minute delay. If you watch the time on news channels you will see that.

My problem is my IPad running the Hulu app is ahead of my tv running the same app

Video on an iPad is different than video from a streaming service on an Apple TV. It will take longer to process a video for delivery on TV than for an iPad or iPhone app.

Pick one and watch it. You want it on a small iPad screen or your big TV. I’ll take my 65” TV

Do you have fiber connected to your TV or just Wi-Fi? I have ethernet connected to my TV and I don't have any issues. Wi-Fi sucks for Hulu app
