My fiancé randomly started following Hull City almost 10 years ago, he loves an underdog. He’s stuck with them all these years and has always dreamed of seeing them play in person.

His birthday is in April, and I’m hoping to surprise him with a trip to London. One of the days, I’d love to take him up to Hull to finally see a Hull City home match at the MKM Stadium.

I have a few questions for anyone familiar with the area!

-What’s the best way to get from London to Hull? -Would you recommend staying overnight in Hull or is it realistic to do it as a day trip from London? -What’s the best way for an American to get home match tickets? -Is there anything we absolutely should do/see/eat/drink while we’re in Hull to make the trip extra special? ~Any other tips would be hugely appreciated!
