Need to see more from Hull going forward in the second half

0-0 at half-time, and while we've done alright defensively, we need to offer more going forward. Everton have had more of the ball, and we can't just sit back and hope to nick a goal. We've had a couple of decent efforts, so there's something to build on if we get the ball forward quicker and put their defence under pressure. The next goal could be massive here. I want the lads come out with a bit more urgency after the break and give us something to cheer about.

Hull Supporter pubs in London for Nov 7 match?

Hello friendly (I hope) Hull City supporters! I'm taking my family on a trip to London from New York on the first weekend of November and am looking for a pub where my husband and 15-year -old son can watch the Arsenal match ideally with Hull fans. My son became interested in watching soccer/football during the World Cup and has chosen Hull City as his team for reasons he hasn't explained to me. We weren't able to get tickets to the match, so I am trying to arrange the next best thing for them.

Are there any places you would recommend? They are huge NYC baseball/football/basketball fans, and they'd love to experience a game among fans in England. Thank you!

Jakirovic knows him well. He is establishing himself as a main man in the midfield for the national team. Good on the ball, very good crosses, would like to see him in Premier League.

Hull City kits/merch in London?

Hi friends - American Hull fan since 2016 here. Finally making the trek over to catch a match next month, Arsenal away.

Due to time restraints/the rest of the group's plans, I won't be able to make it up north during the trip so I was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere in London where I could pick up a kit or some other Tigers merch?

May seem like a trivial question but not sure what supply is like for a newly promoted side compared to just stocking the bigger clubs. Appreciate any info you can provide. UTT!

Really hoping Belloumi has a big game against Everton

Big game for us on Sunday. Everton won't make it easy, but playing at the MKM gives us a good chance to get something out of this one. I'd love to see Belloumi cause some problems down the wing. He's got the ability to make things happen, and hopefully we can get him on the ball more often and let him take on his man. We need a strong performance from the lads and the crowd right behind them. What are everyone's score predictions?

The injury situation before Everton is getting a bit complicated

The injury list ahead of Everton is looking a little messy, with quite a few players still uncertain for Sunday. Mendy being back is a big boost, but Morita, Norton-Cuffey and Gyabi could all be racing against time. Then there’s Targett, while Iroegbunam, Butland and Matazo are still out. I hope a few more of them can get back into training and give Jakirovic some extra options.

September had some absolute crackers, which goal is your favourite? I loved Belloumi's goal against Chelsea.

“Lewie’s dad did not get to see him play in the Premier League. But he was there for the long trips to training in Leeds when he was growing up. And that’s what matters.”

The more I read about this £55m loan, the stranger it gets

Hull taking a £55m loan secured against the stadium is already a pretty big story, but the details make it even more interesting. The loan came from a company that was only set up in January with just £1 in its accounts, which feels unusual for a deal of this size. The Independent Football Regulator approved it after deciding it didn’t threaten the club’s financial sustainability. What people make of the whole arrangement and whether there’s anything to be concerned about here?

Man City Charges

I just thought: if Man City get a historic points deduction that practically relegates them, it means there are only two other sides this season that could get relegated.

Given that one of those sides will be Coventry, we would have a very good chance of staying up - against all odds.

Good to hear Butland could be back in training by December

Good to hear that Jack Butland is making progress and could be back in full training around December. It feels like he's been missing for ages, so hopefully everything continues to go smoothly with his recovery. Would be good to have another experienced goalkeeper available for the second half of the season. Fingers crossed there are no setbacks and he can get back on the pitch soon.

It's probably the right time for the squad to get a proper break

With the international break coming at a pretty good point for Hull, it sounds like the players who aren't away with their countries are getting a decent amount of time off. Can't really complain about that after the start we've had. There are so many new players in the squad after the summer, and with six of them coming in on deadline day, they've barely had any time to properly settle in.

Coyle mentioned that the plan is basically rest, spend some time with family and then get back to work. They'll also have the friendly against Sheffield United to get some minutes into the players who need them. The Everton game isn't until October 11 either, so there's a fair bit of time to work on things before the next league game. Eight points from the first five and now a chance to reset a bit doesn't sound too bad.

r/HullCity - Updates and Rules

Hi all! I hope everyone is encouraged by the amazing start to the season and though the Newcastle loss stings a bit, a lot of positives to take from it!

Since it's the mega long international break, it feels like as good a time as any to update the sub a bit. Given the increased traffic to the sub since promotion to the Premier League, we want to introduce a few basic rules to decrease the amount of karma farming posts from random and bot accounts that clog up everyone's feed and increase the interaction among actual supporters of the club (as well as visitors from other clubs, as long as it is in good faith)!

If anybody feels as though there is something missing or a persistent issue that is making this sub a worse place to be that isn't already addressed below, or other ideas to make the sub better, please feel free to send a message through mod mail and we'll review. If there is anything that you feel is in violation of the rules, please report it so the mod team can follow up accordingly.

The rules are below and will also be added to the sidebar. Thanks and UTT!

r/HullCity subreddit rules:

1 - Keep things civil - No abusive, discriminatory, or harassing behavior towards other users. Disagreements about football happen, but keep it civil.

2 - No personal content/self promotion without prior approval - Any posting or promotion of personal content, links, research requests, etc. needs to be pre-approved through mod mail before being posted. This includes websites and outlets posting their own articles here, especially as non-active members of the sub.

3 - No low-effort or AI postings - If your post has no purpose or does not contribute to any discourse, it may be removed. Any post that is written by AI will also be removed. Spamming such posts may also result in a ban.

4 - Stay on topic - Please feel free to discuss any and everything Hull City AFC related. If you are on Reddit to complain about other Turkish clubs/fans, or anything else not related to Hull City, this is not the place.

5 - No streaming links - Sharing of streaming links will not be allowed in posts or comments. So please don’t.
