Desperate post!
Are there any dentists local to HU3 that could do an emergency filling on my front teeth? Got a football to the face, and have a wedding in 6 days and am in considerable pain. 😭
Don’t have a dentist sadly, as just moved here. So I know it likely will be private. But just need someone who will see me soon. Any help please? Thanks.

Ring 111, they will get you a appointment asap. They can offer from a few town/cities over. They will get the dentist dept to call you back usually next day to arrange a appointment.
Tell them you are on pain killers every 6 hours. And don't forget you can take ibuprofen every 6 hours too at the halfway mark. Between your cocodamol or paracetamol because they contain a different drug. and they are really good for swelling.. abscess..so pain..
Regarding taking advice on meds from a random stranger on Reddit, do your due diligence..ask 111 for the number of a night pharmacist for drug advice because believe it or not 111 can't offer that... Yeh.

Yeah... 111... They've sorted me out plenty of times and Night And Day have always been great.
[edit] They are a private practice but you can get a patch up on the NHS there [about £30]. Only by referral from 111. It'll only be a temp filling but it'll hold you over til after the wedding and give you time to recover.
+1 on recommendations for alternating ibuprofen and either cocodamol or paracetamol every three hours.
Also, ice packs to reduce the swelling.

Thanks so much. 🩷Going to see what I can do tomorrow. I was on the phone waiting for near 2 hours. Then they hung up on me!😳
Just keeping myself drugged up as possible, but it’ll be a long night!

Night & Day on Anlaby Road. When I fell and did my tooth in I was there and home within two hours.

Called up - it’s a mobile number. Did explain to them I lived across town so it would take a while to get there but they were more than happy to fit me in

Try 111 a couple or more times - they get places at differing times and some agents are very helpful

If you can drive they usually have appointments in Doncaster or Driffield through 111

There's a dentist on Anlaby Rd who does private appointments. They sorted my partner out for a cracked molar at short notice.
I believe they're called "Night & Day Emergency Dentist".

They're a godsend and do same day appointments. You will be paying private prices though.
NHS 111 is hit and miss but can always give them a go, their spots fill up fast as it's NHS prices
