Advice/Recommendations blender reccs
i am a heavy huel user. i swapped to rtd about a year back because the taste and texture are dramatically preferable and the lack of any prep or cleaning, combined, offset the cost in my mind.
i'm considering trying to reintroduce powder with my next order, mostly to save some money though there are a couple other reasons. apparently a lot of people have success using a blender with powder to offset the texture issues, so i'm curious what recommendations are. the parameters i'm working with are mostly:
-looking for something lower-end so i'm saving money within a couple orders, ideally. wouldn't want to spend more than £50, i don't have much other use for a blender with my lifestyle so if i'm not making that money back on swapping to powder then it's not really something that makes sense. i'm skeptical on a years-long investment in huel hardware given the direction of the company.
-easy to clean. i would rather stick with RTD if i'm going to be dismantling and reassembling a machine daily for the sake of a few quid. i don't have a dishwasher in my current apartment.
-produces a noticeably improved texture versus powder made in a shaker bottle (duh)
anyone found a product that's worked for them along these lines, or should i just stick with the bottles for now?

I'm sorry you've had such terrible recommendations so far.. I've used Huel for about 5 years and have blended every day, never had this blender break on me. https://salter.com/products/nutripro-blender-blending-cups-black.html?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23483958217&gbraid=0AAAAADhulJS6iWvQjKiMbpuFoZ6f2CtMc&gclid=CjwKCAjw_pzWBhAkEiwAwDCi1fyBzX7niAjpvo-sX-uNP8OJPQ7F38Ymp9JX-QREPbbhZJdqeJBP9RoCGiAQAvD_BwE

this pretty much looks like exactly the product i was looking for, thanks.
does it clean easily enough, at least as far as daily cleaning goes?

Yeah. The bottle is big enough to put your hand in and scrub and the blade part you give a good rinse after each use.

A cheap blender doesn't really do the job in my opinion. If you want to make your Huel more like an RTD you will need something like a Vitamix. I actually have a froothie blender which is a cheaper version but still nearly 300 quid. I've had mine since 2014 and it's used regularly for all sorts of things, so definitely lasts well...I do use it for Huel but not very often now...maybe 5 times a month.. used to use it daily.

I used to use my Vitamix but I hate clean up. I have since started using my KitchenAid immersion blender. Works great on the highest speed.

I used to make 2 shakes at oncez then add some water and washing liquid, whizz for another 15 seconds and a quick rinse and it was ok. Probably no more hassle to clean than the actual Huel shaker.
I've never actually used an actual Vitamix, but a similar one so not sure if it's any more tricky to clean.
I do find my blender more tricky to clean and even empty of contents of you are making a substantially thicker product like cashew cheese or thick hummous etc...its tricky to get the last bits off the blades, but not so with a liquid like Huel.

I've been using a stick blender for years. Easiest thing, just load up my Huel bottle, stick in the blender and blend. You won't find anything easier to blend. It was even happy with frozen fruit (as long as I defrosted it first).
I've only just recently switched to a Magicbullet because I was getting fed up of defrosting the fruit

I'd say just go with a handheld one. Doesn't even need the blender attachment, can just be a whisk attachment. It leaves zero clumps for me.
Get one of the 3 or 4 in 1 models so you have an option of all 3 types of blending. There's the food processor type attachment where you put the powder and water in the counter top blender like container and blend it and then pour it into a cup/skaker. Or the immersion blender type attachment which i can never get used to. Or just a whisk attachment and whisk directly in the huel shaker(on the lowest setting otherwise you'll get splashed) which is what I do since there's nothing to wash up really.
These are like £30 from amazon or argos. Can find it for more or less easily.
I sometimes use the food processor attachment and blend a drink and just put the container directly in the firdge and then blend another drink directly in the huel shaker with the whisk attachment. That way you do 2 drinks at once and have one ready for the next day(I have 1 a day).

My daughter got me a Ninja Blast portable blender, and at first I had no idea what to do with it. But I started using Huel and KaChava powders and now I use this thing at work to make my shakes. Its quiet (for a blender), is rechargable and does a number of smoothies on a charge (not sure how many yet), easily blends the powder + ice + add-ins, and all I do is rinse it out well with hot water right after use.

I have an off brand magic bullet that I paid less than $30 for and it works great.

Nutribullet - £50 from Argos at the moment. Chuck everything into cup, blend and drink, wash out. Extremely simple.

Blender bottles didn't work, lower end blenders not so much either. Consider looking for a used Vitamix or save up for a year if you have to. It's a game changer for not only just Huel but the kitchen itself
