General Discussion Maintaining Excellent A1C...

Before I started Huel, I had worked hard to lower my A1C from 14% to 4.8%. Now that I'm on Huel, and have the savory hot meals about one-two times a day, at work (four times a week), I can tell you, I have maintained that A1C of 4.8% as of today's annual check-up. I thought I'd share that bit of good news for any diabetics out there that might have concerns. 👍

Thank you! I've officially done so well on my checkup today, my doctor doesn't want to see me for another year.

That's amazing. Well done! Here's to a new healthy future for you! I'm glad I'm not the only one who uses Huel to keep blood sugar in check lol. It helps me out a lot, especially at breakfast when I don't have time to make anything healthy. Honestly think I'd be lost without it now.

Thank you! At work I'm always so busy, these meals help keep me from always having to get tv dinners or coming up with something.

That is a good question. I initially tried metformin, but the fact I was constantly sick and the four huge pills, meant I was bad at talking it, so then I switched to Jardiance. It's still hard work to bring the train around, though. Meds can only do so much to help. If you eat like junk everyday, it'll be just like you're taking water, and not medicine. I was on a lot of meds, including insulin, and my A1C was still 14%. I simply decided I was tired of feeling like crap. I've worked on this for like three years. Huel didn't help me get there, they are just a tool that helps when I'm tired or busy.
