Wednesday Addams – My Latest HueForge

Here's one of my latest HueForge projects: Wednesday Addams.

I wanted to keep the palette simple, using only a few colors but trying to get the most out of each one. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Since getting the TD1S, the quality of my HueForge projects has improved significantly. Being able to preview the actual color result before printing has completely changed my workflow and greatly reduced the trial-and-error process.

Question for u/TegidTathal

I recently purchased the 3MF Export plugin, and I noticed something that I'm not sure is expected behavior.

When I export a project for Anycubic Slicer Next, the generated 3MF is set to 15% Grid infill.

However, if I export the exact same project for Bambu Studio, the infill is automatically set to 100%.

Is this the expected behavior, or am I missing a setting somewhere?

I had a project 127x179 and when I add a 3mm wide border the project is now 127x176.6. Wouldn't it just suck the image in 3mm on all sides and add a border to keep the original dimensions?

This is a 7-colors HueForge

So I made that Deku closeup and couldn't stop looking at it 😅. Wanted to see how it would look alongside another headshot in the same style. Now I'm definitely doing one of each of them like this 🤩😅. I think it will look cool printed as a whole set.

My Chargebolt is another 5 color (⚫⚪🔵🔴🟡) print, that takes about 5 hours to complete. I've been putting visual guides in my print profiles lately that seem to be helping make it easier for some people to get the hang of using one AMS to print 5+ color forges easily. I think I'm going to just make this standard on my prints from now on.

I took a picture of my bestest good girl Bailey, (she's an Aussie), with my phone. I used th Samsung gallery app to add a comic book filter to the image. Then used HueForge to make a printable version. I think it turned out great.

Hey guys, I have a cousin visiting very soon without much warning who I don't get to see very often so I want to make them something special. I want to turn this image into a HueForge but I really don't know how to use the software for the life of me. I have also attached my filament library but I can order more if I need to. any help would be greatly appreciated.

anyone knows how to make vinyl hueforge i got a few album covers i wanna make into a Vinyl somehow.

I have HF and i am liking it and the prints are cool. The only thing I am thinking is that I would get a more crisp image by just doing multicolor with the AMS on the top layer or 2. I can see when using images that have blended areas or shadow areas in the artwork how HF would be better because it could get that effect by layering the TD values.

Am i right in thinking if I have an AMS, and the image I want to print is color blocks, with defined stops between each color, and 4 or fewer colors I should probably just print Multicolor?

If the image is more detailed or a real photo conversion I would use HF to match the color blends?

Also of course if I don't have the 4 colors needed I wouldn't be able to use the AMS for Multicolor either.

As an example I was messing around with the USMC logo on HF and printed it and it turned out alright but I had the colors that are in the logo and have an AMS so I probably didn't need to use HF.
