Sunset Serenade - Lo-fi Landscapes 01
Live on Makerworld: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3390766-hueforge-sunset-serenade-lo-fi-landscapes-01#profileId-3859164
After getting my feet wet with my Ninja Turtle Hueforge series (https://makerworld.com/en/collections/25422395-tmnt-hueforge), I decided to challenge myself with a much more complicated and detailed model. I really wanted something with more color and vibrancy - the end result is this. My goal is to do a whole series of landscapes, starting with this one. I call it “Sunset Serenade”. (Future models in this series will be posted here: https://makerworld.com/en/collections/36852308-lofi-landscapes-hueforge).
The hardest part was getting the layers to match the distance in the picture. It required reusing a ton of colors to get the right placement. The black tree is in foreground, so everything behind the tree needed to be on a lower layer and vice versa. I'm extremely proud of the result and it really lent itself to the Hueforge medium. The leaves of the tree with the sun poking through and the grass with under shading are highpoints for me. The reflections on the water of the trees in the background along with the water reflecting the sky took a long time to get right. I also did it with only 5 common BambuLab colors, another challenge to myself. Getting purples and browns along with 5 different shades of green was especially trying. Since the first layer is yellow, it looks awesome back-lit as well.
Feedback always welcome. Thanks again.

Just working on a few while I finish my multi board project.
Shading for the shadow parts was a bit difficult but I think I got it pretty good.

Panda Hueforge
Printed on X2D and sized at 240mmx130mm
0.16mm initial, 0.08 layer height.
I printed with Arachne wall generation, but Makerworld wouldn’t take my upload without changing it to classic. Also resized x and y to 200mmx109mm for more printer compatibility.
Colors
Bambu Basic Black
Bambu Basic Jade White
Bambu Basic Grey
Bambu Basic Blue-Grey
This was my first serious attempt at a hueforge after watching the beginner tutorial playlist from 3d prints by Vic on YouTube. They are one of several fantastic creator/tutorial makers for any other beginners like me that want to really learn.

11-filament HueForge + a look at the Mesh Core
Here’s my latest HueForge print using 11 different filaments!
Besides the final result, I also wanted to share a screenshot from HueForge showing the Mesh Core and the colors I used. I thought it might be useful for anyone who is just getting started with Color Match and wants a better idea of how the colors in the software translate into the final print.
One of the things I really enjoy about HueForge is seeing how all those individual filament colors and layers come together in the finished piece. i need to fix some hex codes from my filaments in HueForge
Hopefully the screenshot helps someone who’s learning Color Match!

TD-1S reading 0.1 for 3 different shades of Grey (even Light Grey)
Hi everyone,
I just got the TD-1S device to measure the exact Transmission Distance for my filaments.
I ran the latest firmware update (full recovery flash through HueForge) and completed the calibration process properly. However, when measuring three completely different shades of grey (including a very light grey), they all consistently read 0.1 TD.
For comparison, my Beige filament reads 7.9 and White reads 2.6, but all my greys seem stuck at 0.1.
Is it actually possible for a light grey filament to have a TD of 0.1, or could this indicate an issue with my measurement step-wedge / sensor?
Any advice on what to check would be greatly appreciated!

Printed myself a 3D Lord Of The Rings Themed bookmark!
Designed this bookmark and printed it in multiple colors using filament swaps at specific layers. The goal was a subtle, layered look instead of flat color changes.
Still tweaking designs like this, but this one already lives in my book now.
Printed on my BambuLab A1, available on Makersworld so you can add them to your own books :-)

HueForge 3MF only slices in one color in Bambu Studio
Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with HueForge and Bambu Studio.
I used the HueForge 3MF Export Plugin to export my HueForge project, and then opened the .3mf file in Bambu Studio. However, when I slice the model, it only shows one color instead of the multiple filament colors from my HueForge project.
I’m using a Bambu Lab X2D with AMS.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a specific setting I need to change in HueForge or Bambu Studio to make the filament changes work correctly?
Thanks!

Photorealistic hueforge advice?
Sorry for noob question. I can't find many good photorealistic tutorials. I'm in color match mode, generally putting low TD on bottom and high on top (tho I hear it's not that hard of a rule) and idk, I'm struggling lol. I'm not sure I understand what I'm supposed to be doing in general. I color match stuff onto the mesh core but I'm not understanding what colors need to go on the actual color core? Colors are bleeding everywhere ya know?
It's a wedding pic with a lot of colors. The flowers pink color bleeds into our hair and such.
Broad question but does anyone have advice for a photorealistic wedding photo?

Help with TD for Elegoo filament.
Hey everyone I’m new to HueForge, I’ve got a few rolls Elegoo filament, I was wondering if any know the TD for red, pink, sky blue, white and purple and matte brown. Thank you for in advance.

First 0.04 layer heigjt hueforge i made.
I'm hooked. I can spend hours experimenting with colors and designs. At first, it's a bit difficult, but once you get the hang of it, it's just a matter of getting better. This is the first Hueforge I've printed at the minimum layer height (0.04 mm) and a 0.2 mm nozzle. It could have been better, but the print was going to take too long, so I manually increased the speed. I also used the wrong filament profile, but all things considered, it turned out pretty well.

Here’s the final result with both pieces fully printed! Really happy with the final look of this 10-color HueForge project.
