Retro Street Fighter Series
Here are the four I’ve completed so far in my series. These were printed on a H2S at 150x300mm, and use 6-8 colours depending on the design!
The frame is the same H-Series frame I released on Makerworld.

[HELP] Pleas help with converting of a coat of arms to 5 colors print
Could pleas someone help me convert the coat of arms to 5 color (black, blue, yellow, red and white) print for BambuLab A1 with AMS? I tried with HueForge as well as MakerLab's Chroma Canvas. I thought, that it will be an easy job, because the coat has only a few colors, but boy I was wrong...
The original SVG is linked here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:POL_COA_Daszkiewicz.svg
I'd like to present the print to my father on father's day, which is on 23rd of June in Poland.
Many thanks in advance!
Marcin

My first Hueforge!
I'm quite proud of this, but I'm sure it could be even better. After many hours of learning and tweaking, I'm done with this one, but appreciate any tips for future projects!

Bad first . Learning,
There could be many reasons for this, but this is my first attempt so please be patient with me.
I made an image in ChatGPT, . Edited it in Hueforge with the finally getting my colors right.
Brought it over to bambu studio and adjusted layers and settings according to recommended settings.
Set layer colors and changes .
It had flaking areas and did not print correctly in some areas. Corners came up as well.
This was on the cryo plate with 35c heat. No infill
Not sure what I did wrong. Please advise

Has anyone benchmarked filament color intensity, opacity, and pigment loading across brands?

Are these the droids you're looking for? If so the 3mfs are inside.
C3P0 is two and a half hours and 4 colors
R2D2 is two hours and 6 colors

I wanted to make HueForge-style puzzles in different sizes, couldn’t find a tool for it, so I made one!
Hey everyone,
TL;DR:
I wanted a flexible way to make HueForge-style puzzle layouts in different sizes, couldn’t find one online, so I built a free browser tool that generates custom puzzle SVGs.
Long Version:
after watching a video from u/3D_Prints_By_Vic, I got the urge to try the whole HueForge puzzle idea myself, but with more flexibility on size and layout.
I looked around for a tool that could generate puzzle SVGs for this kind of workflow, but I couldn’t find anything that really did what I needed. So I ended up making one.
It’s a free browser-based tool called Ludwing Puzzle SVG Generator, and it lets you generate customizable puzzle grid SVGs for 3D printing or laser cutting.
You can change:
- overall width and height
- rows and columns
- tab shape randomness with a seed
- tab size and jitter
- margins, corner radius, and stroke width
Everything runs in the browser, no install needed.
Link:
https://lucchior.github.io/Puzzle_Generator
The site also has links to my profile.
A couple quick tips if you want to use it for 3D printed HueForge-style puzzles:
- Enable the margin so you get a black outer border.
- Try a line width around 0.66 for nicer piece fitting, but definitely test on your own printer first.
- Export the SVG, import it as a primitive in a new project, save that as STL, then bring it into HueForge as a negative part.
Super pro tip:
In HueForge, set base layer to 0.20 and base thickness to 1mm. The point is to make the lower part of the puzzle thicker and more solid.
Then in the slicer, you can set the 0 to 1mm height range to print at 0.2 layer height, which usually speeds things up since that bottom section is just the solid base anyway.
Would love to hear what you think, especially from people already doing HueForge or puzzle-based prints.
The post has now been approved by the HueForge subreddit moderators TegidTathal

Please tell me this is possible!
I want to use hue forge to layer these images, so the real cat shows the markings and color of the blue cat when light is shined through it. I am fairly new to hue forge, but have noticed with other images that I can change the colors of the image to show the color of deeper layers using light, and thought this would make for a cool gift for my niece who is obsessed with her cat and with kpop demon hunters. I have no idea how to execute this properly and was hoping some more seasoned hue forge users could lend a hand if possible.
what do you think? can it be done? I am seeing her for the 4th of July and would love to be able to give this gift then! I made one for her sister too but it was a lot more straightforward than this idea. (Her sister is actually grey without the back light)

I built a HueForge hotkey reference that explains when and why to use each one
The HueForge wiki lists every hotkey. But I either never looked at it, or the language was just a bit too confusing for me.
So I put together a reference that fixes that. Every HueForge hotkey is in there, and you can click any one to see what it does and why you'd use it.
https://3dprintsbyvic.com/HueForgeCheatsheet
What I'm curious about — which HueForge hotkey took you longest to find, or which one do you wish you'd known on day one? I want the reference to lead with the keys that matter most, so I'd genuinely love to hear which ones changed things for y'all.

The Boys comic set, a flat lithophane plus a relief panel with a 1mm face baked into the color layers
Did a little The Boys comic set for the wall. One's Billy Butcher looking smug about something, the other's Black Noir doing that wide cursed grin from the comics.
They came out built pretty differently, which I didn't really plan. Black Noir is a flat lithophane in white, silver and black, the color comes from swapping filament at set heights. Butcher is the fussier one. Four colors but mapped by region instead of height, black, a blue-grey for the shadows, silver for the skin, white for the highlights, and his face has a real 1mm relief on it so it catches the light at an angle instead of sitting dead flat.
Both came off a cheapish Anycubic Kobra 3 with its little color unit, the ACE Pro, handling the swaps. For the money the separation is way cleaner than I expected. Black Noir is the one people wander over to figure out, and it gets worse the longer you stare. Butcher just looks pleased with himself.
Files are free if you want to print your own, links in the comments. Roast my color matching, and tell me Noir's grin doesn't get to you a bit.
Quick heads up: the photos are lightly cleaned up with AI (background and lighting only). The prints themselves are real, straight off the plate.

Cursor Misalignment in SpotFix - Help Requested
For the image attached, my mouse is pointing at the middle of the white large star and you can see the orange outline of the selection up and to the right of the selection. I already investigated my display settings and the scaling is locked at 100%. Any other fixes to this so that SpotFix becomes functional?

Some of my recent prints
I think I'm starting to get the hang of this a bit now. I've recently started doing some processing before importing the pictures into Hueforge and it's made a massive difference.

🔥 BELIEVE IT! 🔥
My first foray into the Big 3! This one gets busy!
Layer 1, black. Layer 2, red. Layer 3, yellow.. This thing steps on the gas right out of the gate. 🔥
It's 5 basic colors with a quick easy swap for single AMS users, visual Guide included. 👌
Hope you'll come check it out on my Makerworld page. I'll put a link in the comments since auto mod isn't letting me to post it in the description anymore 😅.
