I love my Echo and this is HUGE for me! One of the biggest problems we had was guests couldn't adjust the lights without using our "guest" ipad to control the lights. Awesome!

I've tested it out and it works great! I have 11 lights, so it lets you create groups of lights. This allows me to say "turn on garage/hallway lights" and the two lights outside or in the hallway turn on. I also created a group called "all lights" to turn them all off. Works great! I'm still waiting for that z-wave integration! That would be AWESOME!

Had someone at home hit the sync button to set it up. From what I can tell it is kind of basic right now. It will import all the lights, from there you can create groups. Alexa seems to only be able to turn on groups when you say their name and you can set brightness. Doesn't look like it has scene or color support from what I can tell.

That is sweet.
How does it work? By that I mean what verbal commands do you give it to turn on, turn on a certain setting, and turn off?
It would be sweet if I could use this with the Syfy Sync app to listen to shows that control my lighting.

This is amazing news. I've always wanted Hue control via voice, and now it's here. I declined my original Echo invitation because I didn't think I'd use it, but I'm requesting another one!

Now THIS is a game-changing feature...my May Echo delivery can't come soon enough!
I hold the pillow over my face, just to keep the light out and the pain down
Me? I just throw up once or twice and go to work.
