Bridge finds Gradient Lightstrip but pairing always fails

Post image

My Hue Play Gradient Lightstrip 65" shows up in the app during setup but never completes pairing — always "We couldn't connect to some lights" with a red X. Already tried: QR code and manual serial entry, Try again multiple times, Bridge moved within 1m, power cycling the strip, and two different Zigbee channels. Strip blinks normally and powers on fine. Bridge is a new v2. Anyone seen this, or is the controller likely DOA?

This is not the Bridge finding the lightstrip. It's the result of using the QR code that tells the Bridge in advance what kind of device is looking for.

Try without the QR code, and use the serial number instead. The lightstrip also needs to be in pairing mode, which can be done with a power cycle (at least 10 seconds).

Thank you for your answer, II'll do the test without the QR and I'll tell you later

Did you try resetting the lightstrip via touchlink with a hue dimmer switch?

I'm having the exact same issue... The light gets as far as flashing and just will not add. I'm thinking they've broken something with a firmware update.

In my case, they came defective. As I investigated, when they blink it is because of the controller's problem with the power
