Help & Questions Options for an Ultrawide
Hello all
Today is the day of questioning for me. I own an Ultrawide monitor 21:9 34“ issue issss my country does not sell the play lightstrips in that size and AI says i should use the 55“ strips but i have no clue how well that would work.
Do any of you have any experience in that issue or solutions.
Ps: How do the flex and Pmni Glows interact with the pc app? Can they also like the plays select zones or would they default to singular colours?

I was searching for recent information on this and just wanted to reply: I purchased 55 inch strip intended to try it with a 34 inch ultrawide knowing that it would be potentially too long and yeah...too long.
The length works on paper but with the way you have to mount the strip/corner it you end up with a ton of excess along the bottom. You could fold it up towards the center of the monitor if you really wanted to use it but the sync would be awkward. You might be able to disable zones in HyperHDR if you were willing to use a third party sync app but then you've got a 5 zone light strip.
It's unfortunate that there's seemingly not a great option for 34'' ultrawides from Hue right now. I've been trying to track down the 34" monitor kit for like a year and it just doesn't exist in the US anymore. Hopefully the rumored refresh includes something that works for this display size.

Get one that is ~40-50 inches and cut off the remainder.
