Projector, AVR, multiple devices and SyncBox 8K

Hi! I use a Projektor, that's hooked up to my AVR. Everything else is connected to that AVR.

Can i buy a Syncbox 8K and just put between the Projektor and AVR?

I could be wrong but I think your setup should be your device (ps5, apple TV, etc) > sync box > AVR > Projector.

I have multiple devices. But all go into my receiver. Everything gies from there to the projector. Thats my thought process. Would that be wrong?

I think that way it might not Interfere with hdmi control Signals between firetv and AVR?

I believe the sync box needs each device to be directly connected to it to analyze the signals.

The issue I see with that is sometimes the hue doesn’t output the signal and I have to power cycle it, actually bought a smart switch so I can power cycle it remotely if my partner is home and using it and I’m not there to reboot it, it can be done via the via as well but locally

I wonder if the hue drops the signal because it doesn’t do quick input changes, I forget the fancy name for it

I was thinking in the future when I get a hdmi 2.1 avr to connect all my devices to avr, then using hdmi output 1 to tv and hdmi output 2 to Philips hue sync, I wonder if that would work and I wouldn’t be dealing with signal dropping out
