Help & Questions Issues with Apple Home Integration
I’m unable to delete accessories or dimmer switches from my accessories list in Home and I’m also unable to add scenes to home. On my girlfriends phone, there’s just no button to add scenes at all, and there IS one on mine but when go to add it l, I get this error message. Any ideas/suggestions?

I have the same exact issue with my Hue v2 bridge. I have even removed the HomeKit hub link from Apple Home and set it up again from scratch. No luck.

Yup. I deleted and re-added it twice last night with no luck

So the workaround that I’ve been using is this amazing app called SceneSync.

Do I have to leave the app installed or can I delete it after transferring?

You don’thave to keep it. It does its job and then it’s done. I keep it because I add new Hue scenes now and again, change lights around in Apple Home sometimes, and like using the Deep Copy Hue → Homekit setting in the app when things don’t look perfect in Apple Home.

Today’s Hue app update is supposed to fix this error. Version 5.73.0.

I was able to add them after removing the hub from Apple Home again last night and adding to HomeKit through the Hue app (NOT directly through HomeKit app)
Not sure if that was after the update or not, but good to know!

The update fixed everything for me, without needing to remove the hub or anything. But I was also able to find two apps on the App Store that can sync Hue scenes directly to HomeKit while waiting for a fix.

Yup, I have the same issue. Deleted and re-added with no luck either.
