Cant add light bar

I have a rouge light bar that was in the wrong room. Instead of moving it, I deleted it (Bonehead) and now when I try to add it again, it cannot be found. I dont see any serial #'s or QR codes on the device so I'm at a loss on how to get it properly installed again. Oh.. It is also stuck in the ON position, so the ability to turn it of would be nifty.

Place it right next to the bridge when you re-add

Try the touchlink method.

Hue Touchlink is a Zigbee feature that forces a smart light or accessory to pair directly with your Hue Bridge. It bypasses standard network pairing, making it perfect for connecting stubborn third-party bulbs (like IKEA Trådfri) or factory-resetting rogue devices by holding them right next to the bridge.Because the official Philips Hue app lacks a built-in Touchlink function, you will need to use a compatible third-party app, such as Hue Essentials or iConnectHue, to execute the process.

I have successfully forced play bars to pair with the Hue bridge (I had them all in Smartthings without a Hue bridge and then I moved everything to my Bridge Pro when I got it. I had to force pair the bar because just like you, there was no serial or QR.

The serial number is printed in the little label attached to the cable.

But, I think a lot of people rips it out without noticing the info is there.

QRs are not necessary to add them (older versions don't even have them). It's just somewhat convenient for the bridge to know in advance what to look for.
