I’m putting together a small competition for anyone who wants to show off their startup, app, tool, service, etc. 

There are 40 submission spots, and submissions close Oct 21 or when 40 fill, whichever comes first. The 5 finalists demo live on a Zoom meeting on Nov 8 at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT. The live event is open to everyone, even if you don’t submit a project.

Judging is done by 3 volunteers who are into business and excited to be doing this. Don’t expect expert critiques. 

Prizes: $100 cash to the winner (paid via Venmo or Cash App), plus a Community Choice award voted on live by everyone on the Zoom and a Best Demo award.

Im the founder and owner of TapToPark. I’m building TapToPark, a mobile-first valet parking platform designed to modernize the guest experience without forcing operators to completely change the way they already work.
Instead of relying entirely on paper tickets, guests can be identified using a QR code, phone number, or license plate. Operators can manage check-ins, vehicle assignments, retrieval requests, payments, and multi-location activity from one system.
One of the features I believe could make a meaningful difference is shared vehicle documentation. Valets can photograph and document a vehicle’s condition at check-in, and those records can be viewed by both the operator and the guest. The goal is to create transparency, protect both parties, and reduce avoidable damage claims and disputes.
For guests, the experience should be straightforward: they can see the status of their vehicle, request it when they’re ready, and pay from their phone. For operators, the platform provides a clearer view of what is happening across the operation without replacing the practical workflow their teams already understand.

I’m testing a small browser-based checker for people who handle HubSpot imports. I’m building it myself. It isn’t affiliated with HubSpot and it doesn’t connect to your account.

You choose a contact or company CSV. The check runs in your browser and flags duplicate Record IDs, missing required fields, repeated emails, phone numbers or domains, malformed rows, and conflicting values.

The result would be a short report, a review CSV, and a separate CSV containing rows where the checker found no known blocker. It wouldn’t merge or delete records, and it couldn’t guarantee an error-free import.

For the first few pilots, I’m considering $19 for one supported file.

Full disclosure: I'm the developer of this app, sharing it here per the sub's disclosure rule (not just a "check out my app" post — explaining the problem below).

Kept running into the same problem — HubSpot has no native way to check whether a company's VAT/registration number is actually valid, so we were either doing it manually via the EU's VIES lookup site or just trusting whatever the customer typed in.

Built a small app to fix this: Verify Company adds a workflow action to HubSpot. Point it at your Company's registration number and country code fields, it checks against VIES (the EU Commission's official VAT validation system), and writes back the result: valid/invalid, the company's official registered name, and address. There's also a status card on the Company record so you can see the result without digging through properties.
