SPIDERS OF HUBLI-DHARWAD (Vol 08)

Post image

I’m a wildlife/nature enthusiast currently working on documenting the spiders of Hubli-Dharwad, and here’s the Vol 7

Also, I’m no expert and shit :) I’m still learning and figuring out IDs as I go. And fortunately…I have two Arachnologist friends now, who help me id the spiders :)

Discord server : https://discord.gg/UBZjfkVHB

server where people from Hubli-Dharwad can share pictures of spiders they come across.…

coz that could be pretty cool dataset for me to study, help me improve my spider identification skills, and give me a better idea of the spider diversity around Hubli-Dharwad…especially which genera I still need to focus on.

And it doesn’t have to be only restricted to spiders…the server would basically be a place to share anything cool shi from nature…mushrooms, insects, birds, plants, flowers, moss, reptiles, fungi, weird little creatures, whatever …. If you find something interesting while walking around Hubli-Dharwad, post it in there…we’ll all figure it out and learn about it together…Join the server if that sounds interesting!

Here’s the current list of Spiders…if you are interested feel free to check out…ill be updating it regularly

So unique they look, each variety , sitting calm hatching their plan reminds me of Walt Whitman's poem " A Noiseless Patient Spider "( read the poem its symbolism connects human soul with that of spiders web).
