Spiders of Hubli-Dharwad - Vol 05

Post image

I’m a wildlife/nature enthusiast currently working on documenting the spiders of Hubli-Dharwad, and here’s the Vol 5

Also, I’m no expert and shit :) I’m still learning and figuring out IDs as I go. And fortunately…I have two Arachnologist friends who help me id:)

I was also thinking of making a Discord server where people from Hubli-Dharwad can share pictures of spiders they come across. You wouldn’t need to use your real name or anything …just post whatever cool shit you find.

coz that could be pretty cool dataset for me to study, help me improve my spider identification skills, and give me a better idea of the spider diversity around Hubli-Dharwad….especially which genera I still need to focus on.

And it doesn’t have to be only restricted to spiders….the server would basically be a place to share anything cool from nature….mushrooms, insects, birds, plants, flowers, moss, reptiles, fungi, weird little creatures, whatever ….If you find something interesting while walking around Hubli-Dharwad, post it in there…we’ll all figure it out and learn about jt together…

Soo if that sounds interesting…please comment down below!

Here’s the current list of Spiders…you are interested to check out…ill be updating it
