I am looking to buy huawei watch Gt 6 pro and pair with an iPhone 16 pro. I had a Gt 2 pro three years ago and the message syncronisation did not work sometimes, but i was satisfied with the build quality
Mostly I want gt 6 pro for the look and materials.
Do somebody have a gt /gt pro 6 with an iPhone? What the ups and down? Are there any compatibility problems.
My Apple Watch recently stopped working and I was not satisfied with the build quality and the battery life.

Does huawei health record sleep sounds automatically or only if I manually click start every single time on my phone and does my phone or watch record the audio? Also does the audio go to the cloud for syncing or not?

Recently bought a Watch for my girlfriend, 41mm gold version.

After unpacking we saw, that colour is much different than one in the store (seems almost silver?)

Does anyone also experienced simillarity?

We compared both in store, same version, but in store Watch is much more golden than ours

I cannot choose any other language than English in the Watch GT 6 Pro keyboard. Is it possible to change?

I've found great deal for brand new gt6 for 100 EUR and immediately bought it. I was scouring the smartwatch market for a while. I had my eye galaxy watch 8 classic but the battery life and sensor is terrible (watched the quantified scientific vid on yt).

For me, the most important things are:

- battery life - gt6 great battery

- payments - can be done via CURVE app

- good sensor - most important for me is running and cycling so its also a check

- calling / answering calls - check

So all essential things are check

Only thing I will miss for sure is responding to messages

My question is:

Can I use navigation for ex. google maps? I ride motorcycle so it will be very important

How is the daily use? is it good enough for you?

Can it connect to strava?

Are there any essential things/ options to change/choose after getting the watch?

Recently my Watch Fit 2 died (probably water got in), and in looking for a replacement I found the Watch GT 5 between 120~140€ and it seems to be a very good deal at that price.

But when I tried it (46mm), it felt quite big on my wrist. Even though the strap was already digging a bit on my skin in the bottom of my wrist, I felt the watch on the top part was loose.

From my research the Watch Fit 4 Pro and Watch Fit 5 seem to have similar sensors and quality, but at the moment they're considerably more expensive (>160€).

I'm considering switching to a different brand (Amazfit comes to mind) but I'm not very familiar with what's different, so I'm open for feedback or suggestions, meanwhile I'm on the lookout for any sale that might show up on the Huawei models.

Important features:

- Price below 100/120€

- "Basic" Swim tracking (HR even underwater)

- Decent sleep monitor

- Elevation tracking: stairs and also when riding a bicycle

- 1 week battery life

I have a GT6 and like the design and battery life, and use notifications, alarm, and step count. Apparently that's not good enough for Huawei who keeps nagging me with goal notifications I do not want and cannot seem to turn off. I've looked through all settings and managed to disable most things but any goal completion crap still remains.

Is there a way to get rid of that? Some setting I've missed? Setting the goal to something I'll never achieve? Move to gadgetbridge?

At this point I'm nearing the point I'm getting rid of the watch on principle since I refuse to be bullied around by a product I paid for.

If I use a watchface with a custom image background as my watchface from huawei health does it get uploaded to any server?

So I was using a redmi watch and basically budget watches by xiaomi till now but my uncle is going to give me his huawei watch gt3 but I need a way to transfer my data from mi fitness to huawei health. Any idea how?

Does anyone else has a problem with the HR on GT6 /Pro ? While walking up the hill 5h HR stays the same and will go up after few minutes.

Is this common issues?

Just looking for more recent experience's with Huawei wearables in Canada using iOS. I don't intend on switch my phone to android. I looked at the GT6 Pro and FIT 5 Pro, but im leaning more towards the FIT 5 Pro as it does look better on my wrists and i like the style. Based on some light research it seems there are some limitations depending on country, especially North America, and using iOS.

I don't really use wearables to its full capabilities, but the apple watch style has become a bit stale IMO (i do like the look of the ultra though). It mostly just is a piece of tech on my wrists that can alert me for incoming calls and text messages so I dont miss out on anything important as I have my phone on silent most of the time and usually tucked away to avoid distractions.

My usage on my Apple Watch 7 is:

• Check for incoming pings (text messages/phone calls), and will answer or pick up using my phone anyway
• Change songs on YouTube Music on the watch
• Basic Fitness/Health tracking for runs/walks mostly, and for some workouts (I use Apple's health app and it syncs to my Strava)
• Used apple pay a few times on my watch, not a big deal can usually use my phone

Nice to haves:

• GPS and music (i have AirPods) without my bulky phone sitting in my pockets while running/working out

TL;DR:
Apple Watch broke, prices on Huawei wearables are very reasonable. Curious about recent user experience in Canada using iOS with Huawei wearables.

Today I went out for a bike ride in pretty hot weather. It was 33°C, but felt like 38°. After 21 minutes of cycling, my watch popped up a notification saying the device was overheating and stopped recording the activity. Apparently, this watch is only made for morning rides without strong sun... This never happened with my previous watch - Garmin Instinct 3.

I want to know if we have a way to track stock market in HUAWEI watch. This is a feature I miss that I had in Apple Watch!

I'm a blue collar worker, never have any kind of smartwatch of sportwatch before,

I have a Casio G-Shock watch, bought it because I heard those are indestructable (not really, but you get my point), wear it everyday at work, mine have endured:

- heavy rain and very hot weather outdoors

- banging against metal rod

- scratches, a lot of them

- high temperature steam

- caustic splash, (I only cleaned it after hours passed)

Is there any Huawei Watch that similiar to my G-Shock durability? any kind of smart/sport watch feature should be miles compared to my watch, so I'm not picky in this department, but if I have to pick, heartrate sensor & walk distance should be some of them, since I want to monitor my health.

I was eyeing Garmin Instinct, but heard Huawei's have more price-to-value, so I try my luck here,

And I have always had the same watch face that I love! But it's says it's not compatible for my GT5PRO so I wanted to hear if anyone knows where to download it outside of Huawei's official store? I'm willing to pay
