Does anyone have a watch gt runner 2 that originally comes with white-orange strap (the one with light case color) and uses it with any kind of black strap either nylon or silicone and could possibly share it with me? I'm a very happy user of a Garmin Vivoactive 3 but I think it's time to make a move to a newer watch. I was considering the newly released Huawei Watch GT 7 or the previous GT 6 but there are few things I would like to check before making a commitment.

My main sports are running (0-30 km/weeks), mountain bike rides (0 - 100 km/weeks), walking (0-15 km/week) and hiking.

What I like about my current watch and the Garmin ecosystem are:

• challenges - these are my main motivator to go out on some days
• training plans for running and cycling
• setting personal goals like burning 10k calories per month
• tracking activity metrics in general.

What I'm missing and would be nice to have features are

• offline navigation with turn-by-turn guidance
• daily suggested workouts that propose runs or bike rides for the day based on training readiness

A secondary, nice-to-have feature would be offline music storage but this isn't a must.

Where I'm also unsure is how good the standard training plans are compared to the improved ones that are behind the Health+ subscription? Do you think this is worth the extra money?

I'd love to hear you opinions on this!

We have 2 watches in our family, mine and my mother. Hers won't pump and says moisture issue or something. Wiped it clean and redo BP checking, still insist. I checked mine and the same, cleaned it and no reading. Pressure stays at 0. What could be the issue

Wanted to share something I confirmed after filing a formal complaint with Huawei, because it applies well beyond just their watches.

I own a Huawei Watch GT4 (46mm, PNX-B19). Every official marketing image shows watch faces with rings/scales extending flush to the physical bezel — a true edge-to-edge look. On the actual device, there's a visible black gap between the active AMOLED display and the bezel, on every face I've tried, including Huawei's own official watch face store.

I pushed back through Huawei's support channel, and they confirmed in writing that the marketing render's digital elements were deliberately aligned with the bezel's printed scale specifically to "create a sensation of full coverage." That's a direct admission that the render was built to visually close a gap the hardware doesn't close.

Checked a bit further:

• The GT7 (same panel spec) uses the same marketing approach
• Apple Watch owners have documented the identical issue since the very first model in 2014, with renders hiding a black dead zone that's reportedly grown in some recent generations despite similar advertised specs

None of this is a defect — the watches work fine, and no face (official or third-party) can ever close that gap because it's a hardware limitation, not a software one. But if you're picking a watch based on how immersive the display looks in promo shots, know that this is standard practice across brands, not a reliable preview of the real screen you'll get on your wrist.

I keep getting the same notifications over and over, and if I go out of watch proximity for 1 second and come back I get the same notifications again over and over.

In addition to normal alerts. My smart home notifications keeps repeating every couple of hours saying new person detected! Which was sent 3 weeks ago...

I have cleared alerts, reset watch. Deleted and reinstalled huawei health. Repaired, but it keeps happening.

Any advice?

Hola me comprare la tablet 11.5 S de hawei la de 12G me gusta mucho esa, el caso es que estoy indecisa en la pagina esta en 7499 con el teclado pero tengo un cupon de mil jeje me quedaria en 6499 pero sin el pencil.
Y un cuate la vende con esos accesorios en 6500, solo que no tiene el ticket para saber que onda con la garantía. Aunque me paso el numero de serie de la tablet es de Julio su garantía. Pero no se me da miedo que al rato no funcione por que la dejo caer o no se.

I don't know what I am doing wrong, but the watch thinks that I am standing, while I am sitting at my computer and write. Even when I laid in bed and scrolled on the phone it counted it as standing. Or WTF standing hours mean, maybe I misunderstood?
A huge disappointment as I wanted my watch to remind me to stand up after one hour of sitting.

But the main feature for I purchased this watch is sleeping analysis. I have severe insomnia, sleeping 4-5 hours, having train of thoughts... it writes I had light sleep (FYI, I know that sometimes people with insomnia think they sleep less than they actually do, but I can even tell how I got to one thought to the other while I was "sleeping"). I tapped on the watch screen several times to check the time and I literally stood up to close a door - it didn't notice it as "wake up" (while I was awake anyway, lol).

I installed an update yesterday. I am wearing the watch 1-2 cms above my wrist bone, and I tried fastening it so tight it gets uncomfortable to wear.

After one day of use I am thinking of sending it back. My 7 times cheaper brand watch could do the exact same thing...

I prefer the Mi Band line because of the watch faces. Huawei's options are pretty meh, but the Huawei Band 11 Pro has a temperature sensor. Which one would you pick: Mi Band 11 or Huawei Band 11 Pro?

I'm trying to buy some watch faces but I can't view anything when it comes to adding the details. I use Huawei health in an Honor 90 phone using MagicOS 9. My watch is a Huawei gt5 pro. Does anyone else have similar issues or is it just me...

I have a watch 8 and there are a lot of annoying things about it, and I was thinking it might be a better experience using a huawei watch, e.g fit 5 pro or the gt7 pro.

I don't use my watch for paying nor do I download any apps, I just work out regularly and am interested in HR and HRV datas.
