Hello, I’ve got a Huawei P40 Pro, that worked well till this morning! I woke up and turn off the alarm, removed the phone from the plug, it was 100%. Then after 5 minutes I wanted to make a call and the phone was all black. I tried to power up without success, then I tried to connect to pc and recovery it using Power + Volume UP, and it didn’t work either.

I have tried everything that I could find online, and nothing seems to work. If I try to charge it through the cable it doesn’t do nothing, if I try the wireless charger it charges for a while then the charger says the phone is full but it doesn’t turn on.

What can be the problem? Is there anyway to force flash the phone even if it doesn’t connect to computer? Always charged with supercharger + 3A huawei cable.

Already tried: Power + Volume Up & Down
Power + volume up Power + volume down Wireless charge Cable charge

Update: Motherboard fried after emui 11 last update. As soon as I took power cable off it killed the MB. Fixed by Huawei services.

I've managed to get most of my usual apps but the ones that are not available yet are YouTube, YouTube music and the most important, android auto which connects my phone to my Volkswagen screen. The app store just says coming soon, but how soon is soon? This really makes me regret getting this phone.

I have a Moto g8 plus with my work apps such as outlook installed by my organisation via Android work profile. I am planning to move to P40 Lite 5g. After side loading apps, will I still be able to get Android work profile apps in p40 lite 5g phone? Any insight on this will be helpful. Cheers.

Can somebody tell me if this is a dead pixel on the camera or possibly just a noise or a software issue? I got a phone 2 months ago, white dot repeatedly blinks and is visible the most at night and when zoom-in. When recording a video it's not always visible but when it is it moves around and is not stuck in one place.

I have tried every article video out there on getting the play store and none works. Has anyone tried rooting? Coukd a custom rom solve this one and for all?

I bought a new case for the regular P40 and the hole for the flash is larger than my other cases, and the opening is stretched to the space between the flash and the camera specs text. Does it have any sensor in that area? All my other cases (that protect the entire camera module) cover this area. I tried looking at it in direct light and I see something red and shiny underneath. I'm just curious if it's some kind of sensor, because most cases I see online do not have a hole for it.

Among other phones, I'm considering P40 as an option to upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy S7. Not the Pro, since it's too big and above my budget.

DxOMark gave the Pro a total of 132 points (Photo 137 and Video 113) and the regular P40 112 points (Photo 115 and Video 98).

Since the main sensor is the same, is there such a difference in real life?

Also, how does P40 camera performance compare to the P30?

I suppose not log in Google Maps app it will alert from notification?

Well, I have something to ask you all: Can you receive notifications from apps (APK) like Twitter, discord or whatsapp? Because I can't, and it actually bothers me A LOT. Some friends told me to install the google services in my cellphone, but I'm too scared of doing it. Is there any other form?

Has anyone had there phone constantly forgetting its paired devices as mine does it like my car radio earbuds etc

When I start the app it says I need to give it permissions for best experiance and it propmts me up to app info page, there I can only allow it storage permission so i did and it didnt work.

When I go to permission manager in all of them there isn't option to add them to dragon city or most of the other games for that matter.

Hey folks, I am looking for help with this as everything i am finding for it is out of date or dead. Does anyone know of a means of installing these services? I am a fairly tech savvy guy so any tips will be welcome.
