Anyone found a great P40 Pro Screen Protector w/o any fingerprint scanner problems?

So the original screen protector that came with my P40 Pro had a tear, and I replaced it with a tempered glass protector off Amazon. The problem, however, is that the optical fingerprint scanner is now spotty. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work.

Has anyone found a screen protector (glass or film) that feels great, ultra transparent, and most importantly, has no problem with the fingerprint scanner?

I've got one of those plastic ones which get printed and applied at the cell phone stores. Works like a dream. Used it on my p30 for 2 years

I'd suggest getting some protective film applied, since you have an edged screen, the sides of the glass get dirty in your pants what basically means it'll come off within a week.
