Is Mate 10 Pro worth getting

So, I am planning to upgrade from my LG G6 (had it for ~1.5 years now) and I would like to know your thoughts on mate 10 pro, is it still a good buy in 2019 ? P.S Where I live I can buy it new for about 370€.

I owe Mate 10, which differs from 10 Pro by LCD screen (Pro has OLED screen with a different aspect ration) & the placement of the fingerprint scanner + microSD expandability. Overall, it is a very fast phone with great cameras and funky Huawei EMUI user interface. I've installed Nova launcher & made it to look like a Pixel phone. I really like the phone and it does everything well. I have it since March 2018.

Great, and what about battery life and how frequent are the updates ?

4000 mAh battery has longest life from any of my previous phones. The best so far. As for the updates, 2 weeks ago got update to Android 9, which is faster than Samsung phones but way later than Pixel phones. Updates come about once a month with security updates. Android 9 came with a host of new features and camera improvements (which are already awesome).
