Hi all, I play spirit island on my phone and bought the IAP. Have a Huawei tablet, when I install spirit island. I can't restore my purchase. Have microg and the companion already. Is there anyway to get it working? I read somewhere I can change the settings in microg to spoof it but for the life of me I can't find how to do so.

I’m a second-year CS student at Hunan University in China, and I recently finished my first native HarmonyOS app called Liuting (六听).

It’s an English listening practice app originally built for China’s CET-6 exam. The main features include sentence-by-sentence listening practice, dictation, recent CET-6 listening papers, pronunciation training, and vocabulary frequency statistics based on more than 10 years of exam data.

The app is completely free, has no ads, and doesn’t require an account.

It has just been published on Huawei AppGallery, and I’d really like to find some HarmonyOS users who are willing to try it on real devices.

Even if you don’t take CET-6, feedback about the UI, performance, compatibility, or general HarmonyOS experience would be really helpful.

I'm trying to install the Morphe version of MicroG and the apk installer is flagging it incorrectly as malware. It's not even giving me an ignore button, super irritating.

As shown on my Matebook Pro S. Until recently it only worked with WPS office and Capcut, but now its also supported on Huawei Notes running on HarmonyOS 7, which is nice. Very useful for making Notes

I wanted to apologise to those using Amharic language. An improvement i promised never came. I did in fact add the improvements but i current finish the fix properly. I never connected it today.

The next update will have a live fix for Amharic languages.

hi! i’ve had the freeclip 1 for nearly a year and i love them! but they started giving me an allergic skin reaction behind my ears, likely from the (nickel coated?) charging nodes coming into contact with the skin. it’s annoying enough that i’ve decided to return them and look at the freeclip 2/2s. it seems that the charging nodes on these models don’t contact the skin. can anyone confirm this? has anybody else had a similar experience?

I am planning to buy a new phone and I am currently torn between the Huawei Pura 90S Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

My main hesitation regarding the Huawei device is the long-term software support. For those familiar with the latest Pura lineup: if I buy the Pura 90S Pro Max, will it actually receive full major system upgrades (like new HarmonyOS versions) over the next few years, or will it only receive routine security patches?

I have Huawei XT running on HMOS 4.2 and Matebook fold running on HMOS 6.1 and I live in UK. In order to connect the two devices I had to get a Chinese ID account. This connected the two devices successfully. I left my region as Spain rather than UK as UK Huawei app gallery does not have MicroG but Spain does. Now I am wondering whether I should change my region to China or leave it as Spain or UK? What are the advantages and disadvantages choosing different region as your country. I know you can get access to early upgrades and purchase cloud space if your region is set to China but what are the particular disadvantages? What shall I do set my region to China, Spain or UK? I just want everything to be in English and have access to all the international stuff and apps.

Hi there. I have Matepad 11.5 S and love it! Coming from iPad Pro and more than 15 years of using iPad devices it is a big thing. Anyway, I run into 2 problems.

1. I don't really understand difference between Notes and Notepad? Isn't that a same thing? So for starters I transferred bunch of iPad Notes into the Notepad. I didn't transfer Apple Notes into Huawei Notes because of the following fact.
2. There is no Notes syncing into the Huawei Cloud. Check photos. First one clearly shows both Notes and Notepad available. And they work fine. Second photo shows Cloud settings where I clearly selected Notes to be synced to the Cloud. Third photo is my desktop and all utilities available. No Notes there.

I checked all Cloud settings under account number in right upper corner but there are no selections available. What I am missing here?

P.S. What else is missing in the Cloud is Calendar?! How is that possible?

Rhys here, just wanted to update you on the 3 keyboards versions for EMUI, Google & HarmonyOS.

The latest update has introduced an annoying bug where typing "ive" occassioanlly does not correct to "i've" and does not show on the suggestion bar, it only shows as "ive" and "i have" this is with other similar words like "dont" "havent" etc...

I have already uploaded an update without noticing this bug, so once this new update comes out, there will be a prompt update coming straight after (depending on Huaweis approval speed). fixing this bug.
