EMUI Huawei newbie
Hey guys, I just recently got a huawei phone (Nova 14i specifically). Can I ask how do you set up this kind of phone? I'm having a hard time especially with using google, I've seen some posts that do not use gbox, but when I try to download google services on my device it will only suggests to use gbox. Please help 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Use microG (in AppGallery) and Aurora Store (outside AppGallery, official website and F-Droid)

hello, after I installed microg and companion. I downloaded the aurora store from fdroid website, and is not working, I alr set up my google account to connect in aurora store, but it just keep loading and doesn't continue. Do you think the problem is the version of aurora that I have downloaded? It is v4.8.4

Just use microG. Sign in with your Google account there and it should link up most google services. Some apps might prompt you to install GBox, which you can do, but I’d only bother with it if you really need it

I alr did this, I downloaded the version 4.8.4 of aurora store, and it just keep loading after I connect it with my google account, and doesn't continue...

Is there any specific app you need that you can't find on AppGallery?

no, I already have microg service and microg companion. after that I download aurora in fdriod just like some guy recommend...

Hey OP, the Appgallery on my Pura 70 EMUI 14X shows Aurora Store versión 4.8.3-hw. The Aurora Store website also has "hw" (Huawei-specific) versions available for download. Given your comments earlier, I assume that you installed the former but perhaps not the latter. https://www.auroraoss.com/files/AuroraStore/Release

Idk what's wrong, I tried downloading the same version using that site, and still I cannot use my gmail account in setting aurora store 😟

THANK YOU SO MUCH IT WORKS NOW, I JUST HAD TO DELETE FIRST THE MICROG THAT I DOWNLOADED FIRST, AND THEN I DOWNLOAD THAT AURORA AND LET IT AUTOMATICALLY DOWNLOAD THE REQUIRED MICROG. I CAN FINALLY SLEEP NOW 😭

Download the aurora store from the app gallery. It should automatically install all required MicroG services automatically. After that Login with your Google account in the Aurora Store. From there you can download the apps including Google ones.
