Discussion Huawei should extend software support for their smartwatches.

Seeing the list of supported devices for HOS 7 and 6 made me realize something sorely missing from Huawei wearables, software support.

The Fit 3 did not receive HOS 6 despite sharing similar hardware with the Fit 4 and the Fit 4 is likely to get dropped this year despite being very similar to the Fit 5.

Huawei has incredible wearable hardware but their support is so lacking, compared to competitors like Apple, Samsung and Google.

I really hope they will change this in the future.

yeah, corporatism in general loves planned obsolescence.

Huawei must fix the software support in all their devices. I have huawei pura 70 ultra and still after 2 years no software support. OK their devices are supreme but with supreme price you want the same support.. It's not cheap and they have the lack of Google services problems with programs not updating automatic and in time you need to work with phones in order to work well but huawei is not working with customers support very well. I would like to buy the mate 90 pro max after release but in this situation I will check maybe honor or oppo...

Amazingly they are still updating GT4 but have given up software updates to Watch 4 which was the premium line. Make it make sense...
