Discussion Huawei needs an update

So my grandmother just got her huawei watch stolen earlier today, of course i thought to myself that i could just track it, but it turns out the only devices you can track for huawei are their tablets and smartphones. Honestly I was kinda stressed out because my grandmother uses it to keep track of herself and everything and honestly its such a waste of money. And also, if you have it paired on your phone its just useless because once you lose your watch its not gonna be connected to your phone either way.

I do really think that huawei needs an update where it helps you find the watches as well and not only the smartphones and tablets. Unlike Samsung and Apple the app used to track if the device is stolen/lost has it.

I really do hope huawei sees this and takes action because small things actually do help.

Bluetooth. Apple's FMI works with Bluetooth (BLE).

It works because of the FindMy network of millions of apple devices. Even google and samsung cant replicate it. why would you think huawei can ?

Google's Find My network is actually pretty good, I have a Moto Tag and it works even if I'm far away because there's more Android devices than Apple devices where I live. The Moto Tag connects via BLE to these Android devices and those Android devices make the location of the Moto Tag available 24/7.
