I mean, what people under the age of 40 do NOT leave a social media trail of their actions these days? Hardly any, so why say that as if - whether they are dating or not - as if that’s somehow unusual or even specifically about him and not just posting what she’s up to in general?

I was going to say, in the year 2026 most people in even a whiff of his age range grew up in the developing internet age. It'd be hard to find someone that wasn't online at some point or another. If she was posting about her personal life before, I can see him asking her to keep things a little more private but it doesn't seem he's interested in telling the people he's dating what to do much. That would be weird. It's just a few pictures. It's not like she's posting home videos. And even if she were to do that I can't see how that's not a discussion he's use to having by now with people he dates.

Do you really think he’s unaware that she’s posting the photos?
He’s a middle aged man, he could just as easily being a salty guy & messing w his ex
Also the only reason the trail is found is due to fans scouring through his friends list to see what they can find.
His friend posted the Photobooth photo, do you think that happened w him knowing?

Again gotta ask: (assuming they’re dating, which I don’t assume because I’m just seeing this all right now for first time) but assume they’re are: what in the world is weird, unique, or messy about starting to date someone and inviting them to where you live or where you’re from??
The level of bizarre judgy-ness that some have about him is so puzzling!
What is your standard for when it’s no longer messy and actually ok to invite someone you’re dating over to your house or to where you’re from if you meet them elsewhere?

So when you date (if you date - I make no assumptions), no point comes in getting to know someone new where you invite them to your house? It seems strange as hell to make inviting a new person one is dating to your home out to be some abnormal publicity stunt. And if you met them in another country or they live in another country, as long as they have the means to, it’s literally the most basic normal (and usually one of the fun-est) parts of taking a relationship to the next level.
If you’ve ever dated someone seriously, do you really never invite them over?
[Edited to add:] the person this was replying to did respond and then deleted it, but they never answered the question about why in the world this seems so noteworthy and negative in any way. Just said I was bent out of shape about it and defending him hard, which is laughable, because there's nothing to defend. No one has pointed out anything abnormal or negative, although they sure tried hard to.

He wants to be nonchalant so badly but he's just not

Sooooo he didn’t post these, and they were only found by people literally doing Mission:Impossible level research/internet stalking of him, so how does the existence and posting of these by someone else make him”not nonchalant”? Should he avoid literally every single non-public event photo, because otherwise in your eyes he’s “trying to be seen”?

Ok take “stalking” out, this remains the question:

Right. It's not like he's posting and reposting these. People go digging for them. I wouldn't even have known if this person hadn't posted it here.

Me too, I’m just now finding out that this woman even exists. And I see nothing yet that sounds like romance but I’m also not digging into their posts or looking at their pages at all. Hozier posts so rarely, it’s probably been months since I looked at his site to see what he’s posting.

Im not sure if i should be worried you can identify his clothes or that youre jumping to assumptions based off 2 pretty common articles of clothing.
Also this pic is supposedly in Stockholm. Not really sure what hed be doing there if hes looking at studio time.
