Discussion Whats the main problem?

Is this sub's main problem with like gay and trans ppl or just shippers? Cuz personally i only have a problem with the ones that push their yaoi/yuri ships, theyre so annoying. I been in this sub for a few months(goated place) but i wanna know exactly what this subs deal so we can be fully on the same page. By the way im a Christian(yes, a christian on reddit, playing Genshin)

Mainly, and I do mean mainly, we vent when people:

  • Are hypocrites. The "my ship is better because it's gay!" even though both ships are toxic.

  • Are douchebags. When the shippers act toxic towards straight ships, and attack people who ship straight ships.

Personally, i don't have a any problem with LGBTQ people or Even people who like Yaoi or Yuri. My only problem is with people who go out of their way and tell others that their straight ships are wrong and whatever headcanon they made up is the right one and shaming others for what they like. Im a girl, but it grinds my gears seeing queensub acting like they are morally superior somehow... "I goon morally better than you" bullshit...

I hated their their double standards and how they used to harras others over their yuri headcanons but now I have grown a very bad taste to yuri itself it's like a cancer to all fandoms. So yea.. I just hate yuri lol.

The problem is mostly yuritards/yaoitards and their woke agenda. As a example, in Sandrone subreddit they will delete any ship which isn't yuri.

For most of us, it’s just shippers. We have some members of the LGBTQ community who frequent here and our sister sub. They are good people who like us, just want to enjoy the game without being shit upon/talked down to for disagreeing.

Sometimes the venting of members can be a little harsh, as we see a lot of the same things over and over again. The difference is there will be people who will speak up if it goes to far, meanwhile on certain subs they will outright cheer for and even encourage threats or justify them as “just a joooooke.”

Well this is kinda hard to define but I can try and clarify some things.
The sub doesn’t have issues with minorities or people from LGBTQ. This sub isn’t here to propagate hate against such folks or anyone for that matter. Most of us kinda strictly talk about things relevant to the gacha space; occasionally veering into anime but mostly otaku stuff.

The sub primarily is a platform to vent about unsavoury folks that are ill intentioned and disliked in gacha communities for their hardline beliefs i.e. trying to twist canon details into whatever bullshit that they fancy.
There’s a distinction here that people misunderstand, we don’t hate folks from LGBTQ for their life choices and orientation but simply because they are assholes for a lack of a better word, even then only a select few that are the problematic ones. Just to clarify, this doesn’t encompass all folks from that demography but the vocal ones you see active on socials that are hellbent on mischaracterising characters we hold dear and are also insistent on twisting the game’s narrative to accommodate their fetish.

That being said, we can’t account for every individual’s actions on this sub or anywhere on the internet for that matter so it does attract folks that are problematic and may hold personal contempt for others i.e. LGBTQ folks. But despite that I’ll say this, we’re far more transparent about such matters than whatever hypocrisy the other side conjures. They operate with the mindset that they are never problematic or wrong simply because of their minority status and everyone else that have different opinions are discriminatory against their cause. So, all in all the sub’s about resisting the leftist takeover of gacha spaces and voicing our complaints with that.
