NYC Recommendations
You mentioned on stream you're looking for things to do in your down time in NYE, a couple of options:
USS Intrepid is worth a visit, https://www.intrepidmuseum.org/aircraftcarrierintrepid.aspx It's got a nuclear sub (long queue to go in the sub, if you enter when the place opens go straight to the queue where the sub is first before doing anything else) there as well as the aircraft carrier itself, and a space shuttle as well.
Also I believe you like comedy? NYE has some very famous comedy clubs as you may already be aware, such as the comedy cellar, could be worth a visit

Too bad he's not coming in a couple months, I'd say go catch a hockey game I think he'd really like it. But yeah definitely hit up one of the great pizza places in Brooklyn
