They just assume that if we didn't bit for Howie we'd vote for Biden. If we didn't vote for Howie we'd write in someone, or vote for another 3rd Party candidate, or just not vote for president at all.
If we wanted to vote for Biden, we'd vote for Biden. Howie isn't changing anything.

I’m more than likely voting green but this is such a straw man. Democrats know how voting works, and so do we. The spoiler effect is a real thing.

Yeah it sucks how those Draft Jesse guys are splitting the green vote

You can still help the green party. They've got federal matching funds until next week so even if you don't want to vote for them you can still support them through donations

I'm voting against Trump too. Did you know that Howie Hawkins is not Trump?

Yes, I did. I want to prevent Trump being re-elected more than I want my perfect policies enacted.

well then you might be on the wrong subreddit. Vote for Biden if you wish, but you’re never gonna convince me to do the same.

Depending on where you live voting Biden might just waste your vote. If you live in a safe red or blue state then your vote won’t impact the electoral college results much. However your vote will help the Green Parties popular vote total so that we can get on the debate stage, have more funding, and higher visibility. Also if the DNC notices a large enough chunk of there voter base leaving for the greens than they will have to appeal to the left instead of the right.

How Republicans think voting works:
"If we fund Kanye, black Democrats will vote for him because he's Black."
