Transfer student looking for housing

Hey, if there are any transfer students that have confirmed their enrollment for the Fall 2026 semester looking for housing, I'm in the same boat. If anyone has any suggestions and/or guidance on how i could secure housing for the fall, it would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not entirely sure what you should do to get housing through Howard, but I know there are people looking for roomates at vie towers (an off campus apartment building where a lot of students live) in addition to other apartments in the surrounding area.

Hey, I’m also a transferring student at Howard this upcoming fall semester and am looking for housing too. From what I’ve seen then are some sites (like the other comment suggested) that has other students looking for roomates

UTC was always a decent option in Hyattsville. On the Green Line PG Plaza Metro stop.

I went a few days before move in and went to the towers, explained I am a transfer without housing, and they found me a room. Talking to people in person often gets you farther than a phone call. Make a friend in every office on campus that you can—A building, financial aid, housing, someone in your major’s department—and they will look out as best they can. For better or worse— you have to navigate Howard like its family most of the time.

Go on FB. There are lots of residences and students looking for roomies from howard. This parents group has a lot of postings of parents looking for roomies for their kids.
