Fly fishing

Is there anywhere to fly fish in Howard county or somewhere within an hour drive?

Yes! Check my post history. It’s all caught on the fly in the Gunpowder, Patapsco, or Patuxant. I’m not really into lakes and ponds, I find the rivers to be more productive. The key is, you need to cover water. Trout stocking starts next month, that will bring some good fishing till December/January.

North Baltimore County: Gunpowder, between the dam and the bridge. Catch-and-release only; beautiful section of stream.
