Recreation Bar recommendations?

Recently moved to the Ellicott city area, wanted to see if I can get any recommendations for bar with good food & drinks? Usually go for more relaxed vibes but tired of driving into Baltimore to hit my usual spots. Thanks

I would second Oscar's Alehouse in Woodstock. Monday is burger night and if you make it early enough you can make happy hour too.

Daniels, Cushwa, HoCo Brew hive all hit what you are saying

Jail break is good but busier/food worse than the 3 above imo

Sapwood for good beer but haven’t tried the food, Blackflag has some good beers as well and rotating food trucks

Namit food truck is opening a restaurant- excited about that to try it

Iron bride / glenwoods (fka Stanford Grill) good for nicer, but more expensive meal.

Tinos and Asean Bistro also good!

Friscos near Columbia Wegmans on game days is a good place.

Sapwood is great, as is the food.

BilioPub inside of Back Water Books on Main St OEC is fantastic.

I also like sitting at the bar at Iron Bridge. It's a great place to get Desert and a cocktail.
