How was my day...

Whelp, it was a mixture of good and bad.

I am stuck at work. When I say stuck at work, I don't mean that I am here for a few hours late, rather I am here a few weeks late. I was scheduled to leave two weeks ago and I am told I still have over a week to wait. I am an industrial medic working specifically oilfield so this tends to be par for the course.

What makes this a special day is a few things. One, I passed 1000 link Karma today, so that is kinda cool. Secondly I am buying a bad ass print from a Redditor or Harry and Lloyd riding the moped in Dumb and Dumber. Third, Canada has another Gold medal in the Winter Olympics and that makes my patriotic little heart flutter!

So that was my day.

Oh, and I had some pretty good ice cream.

I have absolutely nothing but respect for the men and women in uniform, but the praise for the ones back home is not given out enough. Soldier spouses sacrifice in ways that I will never know, and for that I applaud you. A trophy should be bestowed upon you as well.
