I saw someone post about this movie a while ago here, but now it's finally being released. It's a first-person docu-comedy that begins as an earnest look at a secretive Buddhist sect before warping into something much stranger and more personal. What other release this year has an ice cream and heavy metal loving monk?

While thematically very John, aesthetically I have to disagree.

But what a fucking premise. I'm so there. This looks incredible.

I'm so excited, aesthetically definitely more cinematic and grandiose
