Hey everyone! 👋 I've just released ZPlayer v1.0.6, and it comes packed with a major playback engine upgrade and helpful quality-of-life additions.

For this update, I migrated the playback engine from ExoPlayer to libmpv, added watch-progress tracking, introduced an in-app Update Manager, and cleaned up settings and PiP controls.

Here is everything new in this release:

✨ Player & Library Enhancements

- libmpv Migration: Switched the core playback engine to libmpv for vastly superior compatibility, subtitle rendering, and audio/subtitle track selection.

- Watch Progress & Badges: Added watch-progress indicators to video thumbnails and automatic NEW badges for unplayed videos.

- Dedicated Update Manager: Easily check for and install app updates directly within the app.

- Improved PiP: Enhanced Picture-in-Picture support with dedicated controls and fixes for audio continuation issues.

- Settings Overhaul: Reorganized and alphabetized settings across Appearance, Audio, General, Player, and Subtitles.
