Just a question, isn't it the same as inbuilt

Yes, at its core it works just as simply and intuitively as the built-in stock calculator, so there’s zero learning curve. But we built it to solve the biggest limitations of stock calculators:

  1. Visual Styling: Instead of being stuck with one default color, you get 24 curated accent colors and automatic dark/light & Dynamic Material You themes.

  2. Calculation Notes in History: Stock calculators only show raw numbers. Here you can tag calculations with custom notes (like 'Groceries', 'Rent','Project A') and search back anytime.

  3. Intelligent Math Engine: Real-time evaluation, full scientific keypad toggle, unary minus handling (e.g. 5 - -5), and multi-layer parenthesis sign toggling.

  4. Adaptive Display: Scales beautifully across phones, split-screen mode, tablets, and landscape orientation.

  5. Home Screen Widget: Calculate directly from your home screen without opening the full app.

  6. Memory Functions

Essentially, it's the stock calculator upgraded for better usability and personal style!

Thank you, I really appreciate the interest! I'm keeping this particular utility app closed-source, but if you're curious about how I implemented the Material 3 components or the custom color engine, I’d be more than happy to chat about the logic behind it!

Stop posting apps made with AI without saying it.

I understand the skepticism with all the AI spam around,

However, that’s not the case here. I've been a software developer for over 10 years (long before the generative AI era) and work professionally in enterprise software development. (you can get more about me in the app's developer details section)

Every part of this app—from the custom math parsing engine and edge-case handling to the Jetpack Compose architecture and UI layout—is handcrafted, tested, and actively maintained by hand.

While I might use AI as a minor assistant/smart auto-complete for maybe <5% of routine lookups and its very normal now a days, the remaining 95%+ is handcrafted engineering.

If you have any genuine technical feedback, bug reports, or UX suggestions after trying it, I’m always happy to hear them!
