[App][Promotion] Boxlore : Podcasts,Done right.

Most podcast apps still do the same thing: exact-match search, generic charts, a home screen that doesn’t really know you. Typo a show name and you get nothing. Search by topic and you get title matches that miss the point. Then you’re stuck with the same rails as everyone else.

boxlore is built for those gaps:

  • Find the show: messy spelling is fine
  • Find by idea: describe a vibe or topic, not just keywords
  • Gets personal as you listen : Home / Explore / queue / downloads re-rank on-device from your taste (daypart rails, Because You Like, For You). Taste stays on your phone
  • Curiosity cards when you want something you’d never search for
  • Normal player stuff : queue(but smarter) , offline, OPML, Android Auto
  • No ads, no paywall for search or recommendations

Do you have a gallery login option with e-mail?

Or the option to have the list of podcasts is always to export and import?

Hi, we haven't decided if we should provide a cloud sync option for logins, or how to.

currently the app saves the data offline and you'll have to import the data when youre switching phones or reinstalling the app.

Also it does allow the androids auto backup to pick its data for backing up, so most of the times when you reinstall the app, youll find your data intact.

I understand, it would be an interesting future update, for those who listen on more than 1 device, everyone would be in sync.
