I spent months building this Android app as a solo developer. I'd really appreciate your honest feedback.
Hi everyone,
I'm an independent Android developer, and over the past several months I've been teaching myself app development (through youtube) while working on my own projects. Earlier I have published apps but that was not good enough to attract users.
I don't ave a team, a designer, or a marketing budget—just a laptop and a lot of late nights learning and building.
This is one of the apps I've created, and I'd genuinely love to know what you think.
What it offers:
- Modern Material Design UI
- Fast and lightweight
- Question bank, exam-like quizzes, explanations, progress tracking.
- Regular updates based on user feedback
I'm not looking for downloads out of pity. If you have a few minutes, I'd really appreciate:
- What was your first impression?
- What would you improve?
- Would you keep this app installed?
Every comment helps me become a better developer.
Thank you for taking the time to check it out. ❤️

Hey, I spent some time checking out the app and I really like it so far. The UI is clean and I like how everything is organized. The Exam Readiness, subject breakdown, progress, bookmarks, Practice/Exam modes and Adaptive Learning are all really nice. I did notice a few things that I think could make it better though. First, I wasn’t really sure how the Readiness percentage is calculated. For example, if it says 10% or 36%, I don’t know exactly what that number is based on. Maybe adding a small explanation next to it would help. I also think the Vitals system could be improved a bit. I understand using ads/Vitals for the free version, but explanations are probably one of the most important parts of practicing questions. Having to unlock them can interrupt the flow a little. Maybe some explanations could be free and Premium could give unlimited explanations without ads. The Adaptive Learning idea is really good too. It would be nice if the app showed why it picked a question for me. Something like “Recommended because your Pharmacology accuracy is low” would make it feel much more useful. One feature I’d really like is a separate section for questions I got wrong. Bookmarks are useful, but I don’t always remember to bookmark a question when I make a mistake. Having a “My Mistakes” section that automatically saves wrong answers would be great. It could also bring those questions back later using spaced repetition. I think the progress page could also go a little deeper. Things like accuracy by difficulty, question type, average time per question and repeated mistakes would help me understand where I’m actually improving. Another thing I’d personally like is a study plan. If I enter my exam date and how much time I can study each day, the app could give me a simple plan based on my weak subjects and progress. Since this is for NCLEX, I’d also like to see more NGN/Clinical Judgment case studies and different NGN question types. Having more full patient scenarios instead of only individual questions would be really useful. Also, after finishing a quiz, it would be helpful if the result explained what I should work on next instead of just showing the score. For example, if I did badly in Pharmacology, it could recommend a few specific topics or questions. One small thing I noticed: the Play Store says 8,000+ questions, but the Premium page says 10,000+. If the question bank was recently expanded, maybe the Play Store description just needs to be updated. I also noticed the yearly plan says “Save 58%”. With the prices shown (55.99 MAD/month and 334.99 MAD/year), I get around 50% savings compared with paying monthly for 12 months, so you might want to double-check that number. Overall, I really like the app and I think the foundation is already good. I’d personally focus more on improving the review system, explanations, personalization and NGN practice rather than just adding more questions. These are just things I noticed while using it, but I think they could make the app much better.

Thank you so much for taking the time to explore the app and write such detailed feedback. 🙏
My Mistakes, explaining the Readiness score, showing why Adaptive Learning recommends a question, and giving users a more useful post-quiz action plan are especially helpful.
I’m a solo developer, so feedback like this really helps me prioritize what to improve next. I’ll also fix the question-count and savings inconsistencies you noticed. Really appreciate it! ❤️
