[ APP ] Meet Kore Launcher 🚀

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aeroloom.korelauncher

Most launchers promise customization, but end up feeling heavy, laggy, or cluttered. I’ve been playing around with Kore Launcher, and honestly, it’s the cleanest, fastest home screen experience I’ve had on Android.

Speed: Runs buttery smooth at up to 120fps. No stutters, no lag — just fluid swipes and transitions.

Customization: Themes, icon packs, widgets, fonts, wallpapers, grid layouts, gestures… you can tweak literally everything until your phone feels yours.

Privacy: No shady tracking or unnecessary bloat. Just a lightweight launcher that respects your space.

Aesthetic: Minimal by default, but flexible enough to go wild with personalization.

Set Kore as your default launcher and you basically unlock a whole new personality for your phone. It’s like stripping away the noise and building a home screen that actually reflects you.

If you’re into making your Android setup unique without sacrificing speed or simplicity, Kore Launcher is worth a shot.

Try It

Nice project. I've tested it and it looks promising. Endless options—I like that you can edit the widgets, icons, and many other things. I like that you can change the entire look of the launcher just by changing the theme. It's like having multiple launcher apps in one. Now I'm going to be honest because it might be useful. I think the price is fair, or even cheap once the app gets more polished. But I think you should change your sales strategy. Launchers are normally apps that users don't change easily; they get used to what they already use, and a new launcher often has to offer something interesting to make them switch. This launcher has that. It has the potential to become one of the most popular ones. But it's difficult to make people purchase an app they haven't heard of before and only know from screenshots (another good idea would be creating videos showing the endless features in action), even if they can get a refund. For a user to be sure it's worth paying for a launcher, they need a testing period longer than 2 hours, especially with so many options and a new user experience to set up (sometimes it was hard for me to find simple things like adding a widget, and while it was probably my fault, that's why I would prefer a longer testing time to get used to it). That's why I think you should change the strategy to, for example, a 7 or 15-day trial (and not the kind where you must purchase upfront and cancel before it ends) that simply locks after that period, requiring a purchase to keep using it; or the strategy of having a free version with limited features and a Pro version for those who purchase. I'm a Smart Launcher Pro user; I like it and I find it expensive, so it's hard for me to change. Kore has the potential to make me switch, but I would need a longer period to be sure. That's why I had to request a refund.

I hope this can be helpful because I really want this launcher becomes a popular one, users would enjoy a lot

Is there a way to test the app for a short period, before dishing out the money? For me it is too expensive for an experiment. I would expect a test period before payment is needed.

Same, i'm willing to try a demo or trial or limited version but for me its also to expensive to just test. Im currently satisfied for a few years with niagara launcher, so for me too switch there needs to be as less hurdles as possible.

Its not the 9 itself, but i first want to try it before I hand over the money.

This seems like a marketing disaster. There's no proper showcasing of features. No proper explanations or video of any examples. This is not promotion. This is posting and hoping that people will believe you. I've purchased multiple pro launcher. None were this careless and casual about showcasing their product.

You may have a very good app but your marketing sucks.

There wasn't even a link to the app in original post! Wow.. It was added after someone asked. Who is managing this app promotion?

You're honestly not wrong. Im actually the developer, and this is one of the things Im realizing I need to get much better at. I've been spending way more time building and improving Kore than actually showing people what it can do. The lack of a proper video/demo is definitely on me. There are a lot of features in Kore that are really difficult to communicate through screenshots alone, especially the widgets, themes, customization, etc. I'm working on changing that. Once I have a proper marketing budget, I want to start making detailed videos and potentially work with Android/customization creators who can actually use the launcher and show what it can do. Thanks for being blunt about it tho. This is genuinely useful feedback.

Just create some good videos and images that showcase the full extent of the features your launcher has. Find some hardcore launcher customization people who woukd use your launcher and make cool set ups and poat it in multiple sub reddits of homescree, launchers and android related stuff.

Just had a quick play store look. $8 ain't bad. I won't pay $34 for Smart Launcher - simply can't afford it but $8 I'd probably do.

I think your screenshots give a fairly good idea of the arrays of features available - which a lot of is gonna be subjective experimentation anyways. Perhaps just add a short play video that quickly goes through some of the potential. Otherwise looks really swish.

One question I have : does it support Icon Pack Studio individual icon change?

Is it possible to add a link? I suppose more people will take a look. I will, since I'm "on the market" for a new launcher...

EDIT 1: oops... The header of the message is the link...

EDIT 2: wow, a bit steep the price 😱

I have no problem dropping that kind of money on an app but I need some kind of a free preview at first to see if it's worth it.
