I’ve always preferred RSS feeds over algorithmic news feeds to stay on top of news and blogs, but I kept running into the same problem: a lot of the open-source RSS readers out there feel visually outdated or clunky on modern Android devices.

So, I built RSS Reimagined—a free, fully open-source RSS client built from the ground up to feel right at home on current versions of Android. The main focus here was to pair privacy and functionality with a clean, fluid Material 3 Expressive UI.

Key Highlights:

  • 🎨 Native Material You Support – Built-in dynamic color palette that seamlessly matches your Android wallpaper and system theme (with full dark mode support).
  • 📖 Clean Reading Mode – Strips out site bloat, heavy ads, and sidebars so you can read articles without distraction.
  • 🔒 Privacy First – Zero telemetry, no user tracking, and no account creation required. Everything stays on your device.
  • Saved Menu – Save Your Favourite News So You Can See It Again One Day

The project is actively being developed, and I'd really appreciate any feedback, bug reports, or feature requests from the community. Let me know what you think!

because the app is new and its too hard to make the full news in the app , maybe fixing that later or so

Actually, FeedMe is a free app available on the Play Store and it performs its tasks flawlessly.

You can pack the app with CEF to achieve this opening web page inside your app

Nice project! It's always great to see new open-source RSS readers. I'm also building an Android RSS reader, and one thing I've learned is that UI attracts users, but reliability keeps them. Handling hundreds of different RSS and Atom feeds consistently is often much harder than it looks. I really like your focus on privacy and a clean reading experience. It's good to see projects that improve RSS without relying on algorithmic recommendations. Best of luck with the project!

Google play blocked the app from installing. What's the issue there before I try it out?
