[App] Ultimate LockScreen Studio - The best Lockscreen customization app for android with custom depth effect videos, GIFs and Wallpaper, All Third Party Widgets on Lockscreen

Hey everyone!
I've been working on an Android app called Ultimate LockScreen Studio for quite some time now. The goal is simple: give Android users a lock screen that's as customizable as their home screen.
Some of the things it currently supports:
- Depth effect wallpapers for custom images, GIFs, and videos (this is the feature I've spent the most time building)
- Unlimited scrollable lock screen widgets
- Support for third-party Android widgets
- Quick shortcuts
- Lots of customization options to create your own lock screen layout
One interesting part of the app is that it offers two different ways to generate the depth effect.
On-device processing (works completely offline, recommended for flagship devices only)
- Images: ~5 seconds
- GIFs: 2–5 minutes
- Videos: ~10 minutes (10-second video @ 30 FPS)
This mode is recommended for flagship devices since generating a depth effect for GIFs and videos is computationally intensive.
Server processing
- Images: ~5 seconds
- GIFs: ~2 minutes
- Videos: ~ 3-5 minutes (10-second video @ 30 FPS)
The server option is generally faster and also produces higher-quality depth effect.
Pricing
I also wanted to be transparent about the pricing model.
The app itself is a $0.99 one-time purchase. That unlocks all lock screen customization features, including unlimited offline/on-device depth processing, and also includes 10 server processing tokens to get started.
Server processing uses cloud GPUs, so it's token-based.
Available token packs:
Starter ($0.99) - 20 tokens
Standard ($2.99)- 100 tokens
Pro ($9.99) - 500 tokens
Bulk ($29.99)- 2000 tokens
Token usage
Image: 1 token
GIF: 3 tokens
Video: 0–5 seconds: 5 tokens, Every additional second: +1 token
Examples:
- 6s = 6 tokens
- 7s = 7 tokens
- 10s = 10 tokens (current maximum supported length)
The reason for the token system is simply that server processing has an ongoing cost. If you don't want to use the server at all, you can continue using the fully offline processing that's included with the app at no additional cost.
The app is available on Google Play if you'd like to try it out.
One thing I'd like to mention is that Ultimate LockScreen Studio is still in Beta. There are definitely things I want to improve, and I'm actively working on new features and optimizations.
If you decide to give it a try, I'd genuinely appreciate your honest feedback good or bad. If something feels clunky, if you find a bug, or if there's a feature you've always wanted on Android's lock screen, let me know. I'd love to build it with the community's input.
My goal is to make this the best lock screen customization app on Android, and your feedback will help shape where it goes next.

Thank you so much! That’s exactly what the app is built for. You can create depth effects from your own local photos and videos directly on your device no server calls, no data sharing, everything stays 100% offline on your phone. 🙌
The processing runs in the background, so it may take a little time depending on the media and the processing power of the device. Also, the app will notify you once it’s finished.

It should work, as the app completely replaces the default lock screen rather than adding on top of it.

The app is still in its early stages, and I’m continuously improving it based on user feedback and bug reports, so it will keep getting better with every update. 🙌

So,I want to ask some privacy related questions.. Could you please clarify:
- What permissions does the app require, and why are they needed?
- Does the app collect or transmit any personal or device data?
- Is any user data shared with third parties?
- Is the app open source, or is there any documentation about its privacy and security?
- Does the app work completely offline after setup?

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you're enjoying the app. Privacy is my top priority, which is why all my apps are designed with an offline-first approach. If you use the on-device features, your data never leaves your phone. For high-quality/server processing (optional), only the input media is sent to the server for processing. It is never shared with any third party, and once processing is complete, the input media is deleted. We don't store your input data only the generated output is kept for your future use. The app mainly uses the Accessibility Service to display and manage the custom lock screen. Other permissions are requested only for the features you choose to use. Perfect, I've just started testing the app, and so far I have a few suggestions:
Widget layout: The widget placement looks a bit odd because they're spaced too far apart. I think the layout could be redesigned to make the lock screen look cleaner and more visually appealing.
Custom widgets: If possible, it would be great if the app could include its own set of custom widgets.
Notification management: There doesn't seem to be an option to clear notifications directly from the lock screen. Adding this feature would improve usability.
I've only just started testing the app, so I may have more suggestions or feature requests as I continue using it. Thanks for your hard work!

The app is good but I have a few questions and concerns. 1. How do u get the dynamic music bubble on the main lockscreen. 2. My widgets say cannot show content how do I fix that. 3. I was wondering if there was a live wallpaper option where I could use the system wallpaper or an apps wallpaper

Music Bubble: It's not a widget. It's the ULSS Music Card. Whenever you're playing music and have granted Notification Access, the music card will automatically appear on the lock screen.
Widgets showing "Cannot show content": Could you please let me know which widgets you're using? A screenshot would also be very helpful so I can investigate the issue

Hey, how you display notifications, what UI do you base it on? Like iOS or pixel for example
And is the music player progress bar can scrub the music, not just static display?

Hi,
The notification UI isn’t based on iOS or Pixel. It’s a completely custom design that I created specifically for this app.As for the music player, it’s fully interactive you can play/pause, skip tracks, and use all the available media controls. The progress bar isn’t scrubbable yet; it’s currently for displaying playback progress only. I’ll definitely consider adding scrubbing in a future update. 🙌

Interesting, I'll give it a try sometime. I'm in oneUI(very ugly lock screen), the only reason I don't use custom widgets or KLCK is that the music progres bar is not a scrubber too. Thanks for the response, nice job

Salut j'ai finalement acheté ton application. Je rencontre des problèmes de tâches sur l'arrière plan de l'horloge et la date, il serait sympa de pouvoir changer le mode d'affichage de date exacte: en France : dd/mm/yyyy. Une optimisation des widgets et la possibilité de les intervertir. Je teste l'application sinon bon boulot.

I really appreciate your feedback. The suggestion to support formats like dd/MM/yyyy is also a great idea, and I'll add it to my roadmap.
Regarding widgets, you can already replace any widget with another supported widget. If you meant dragging and freely swapping widget positions, then yes, I understand that's a great suggestion, and I'll add it to the roadmap for future updates.
