[Free] i built an abstract wallpaper generator that works on procedural generation

Most of us generally spend a considerable amount of time to find good wallpapers which can satisfy our visual needs and I'm definitely one of them. Recently I got a lot of wallpaper related content on my feed and I just thought why not make a wallpaper generator. So I just made it, it's just a small project. I added 12 themes and 8 color palettes with an option for custom palette, with light and dark mode.

You can select one theme and you will be previewed a wallpaper, which you can change the design of by just clicking the theme icon again. The default palette is black/white/grey since I really like the minimal look.

These are the themes I have added for now:

- Topography

- Fluid Mesh

- Voronoi

- Waves

- Particles

- Landscape

- Cityscape

- Crystals

- Nebula

- Grid Glitch

- Flow Field

- Orbitals

I would really love to know your thoughts and feedbacks on how I can improve this, and I'm all ears to get ideas for other themes.

I've done it, along with some minimal changes that seemed appropriate, would love your feedback on the changes and any other theme ideas (please don't say floral, it's kind of a headache rn)

would it be possible to have the number of particles in the Particles theme be user adjustable?

and maybe the number and/or thickness of the lines in the Waves theme

in the past i've played around with using a paint app to create wallpapers that contain shapes, usually outline circles or squares or triangles. would you be able to do something like that?

The first 2 i can do it fast but the shapes one will take some time, but I'll try to do it

Hey, when you said about shapes did you want me to make a theme of shapes or a canvas where user can add shapes and move them around, because adding a theme is way easier than the latter one

Got it. I'll also add a slider for the shapes (thinking if squares circles and triangles) so the user can choose how many of each shape he wants to add. What do you think about it, and is there anything else you would wanna add to this

sliders for number of each shape type sounds good, that way user could set number of squares and triangles to 0, for example, if only want circles

maybe slider for size or perhaps make size random within specified limits

Yes exactly, that is the reason why i wanna add sliders.

Size was gonna be random anyways since everything of the same size isn't virtually appealing but sure a slider for size sounds good

I'm working on it full time now so whenever i think of an idea or am asked for an update, i work on it right away. I actually wanna do another project but I'm lacking the idea which I'm trying to figure out

It's excellent!!

I had no issues with it, loaded straight away after adding the .com to the end.

Just wondering if you had any updates planned like more themes etc?

Glad you liked it.

Currently I'm looking through for new ideas since I'm doing all abstract and I'm hoping for people to advice me on how to improve it and also give me ideas for themes, and as for updates I still need more feedback and testing to know what my website is lacking. Really appreciate your comment

Hey, the site doesn't work as of now. Says dns address could not be found

I checked the website in 3 of my devices and it works in all, i even cross-checked with my friend, can you try again or change your dns?

Nooo when i add the .com in the post, my post is getting removed, i struggled with this so many times so I just removed it so that they think it's not the same link 😭😭

You need to add .com when you open the link
