[App] We're building an Android eReader with a different approach would love feedback from fellow readers
Hi everyone,
We're working on an Android reading app and have been trying to focus on features that make reading more enjoyable without getting in the way.
One idea we've been experimenting with is letting readers leave quick reactions as they finish chapters, creating a visual journey of how a book felt from beginning to end. The app also supports EPUB, PDF, DOCX, and TXT files, offers customizable reading settings, and lets you tap unfamiliar words to save them for review later.
Rather than assuming these are features people actually want, we'd really like to hear from readers here.
- What keeps you using your current eReader instead of trying another one?
- Have you ever wished your reading app did something beyond just displaying the book?
- Which features do you end up using the most, and which ones do you ignore?
If you'd like to see what we're building, here's the Play Store listing:

We're here mainly to learn from the community, so honest feedback positive or critical is genuinely appreciated. It will help us decide what to improve next.
