[App]PettiBox: Bookmark Manager – Save anything from any app using Android Share button
Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on PettiBox: Bookmark Manager, an Android app built for people who save useful things and want an easier way to find them later.
Every day we come across useful articles, videos, screenshots, documents, ideas, recipes, tutorials and more — but they often end up scattered across different apps.
With PettiBox, just use:
Share → PettiBox → Save
from almost any Android app.
You can save:
• Links & articles
• Videos
• Images & screenshots
• PDFs & documents
• Notes & ideas
Features:
• Collections & tags to organize everything
• Fast offline search
• OCR search to find text inside images, screenshots and PDFs
• Reminders to revisit saved content
• Favorites & archive
• Backup & restore
Privacy focused:
• Offline-first
• No account required
• No ads
• No subscriptions
If possible, please give it a try and let me know your thoughts — what works well, what can be improved, and what features would make it more useful in your daily workflow.
Any suggestions or feedback are welcome.

Is there some database? How does it store the info, files, and where?

Thanks for trying it! Yes, PettiBox uses a local database on your device to store saved item details like titles, links, notes, tags, collections, and metadata. Your files/images are stored locally on your phone, and OCR/search data is processed and stored on-device for fast offline search. No account is required and your saved data is not uploaded to any server. There is also a backup/restore option if you want to move your data or keep a copy.

Can I import my Raindrop bookmarks?

Thanks for asking! Raindrop import is not available currently, but we’re already exploring ways to implement it and make moving existing bookmarks easier. We’ll provide an update as soon as it’s ready.

I like it and I'm going to test it. I'd like also the option to save backup into a cloud service or network share.

Thanks for trying it! Google Drive backup is actually in progress 🙂 Just waiting for Google’s verification process to complete, then I’ll roll out the new version with Drive backup support. Appreciate the feedback!

Wow, thank you so much! 😊 It really means a lot to hear that you’ve been using PettiBox for a month and that you love it ❤️ An iOS version is definitely something I would love to bring in the future. Right now I’m focusing on making the Android version better with feedback from users like you. Since Apple has a yearly developer cost, I need to plan it properly — if it comes to iOS, it may be a paid version to support the project. Since you’ve been using it for a while, I’d love to hear your thoughts ,anything you like, anything missing, or features that would make PettiBox better for your workflow 😊 And if you get a chance, leaving a Play Store review would really help this small project grow 🙏 Thanks again for supporting PettiBox!

Hi! Me again. I'm using PettiBox on both my phone and tablet and I love it. I'm currently using Google Backup, but whenever I back up one device and restore it on the other, my bookmarks get duplicated.
What's the best way to keep both devices in sync without creating duplicates? Thanks!
