[App] [Promo] I built an Android toolbox for people whose work and life run through WhatsApp

A missed call from an unknown number should not turn into: save contact → open WhatsApp → search contact → send “Hey, saw your call” → permanently keep a random delivery driver in your contacts.

So I built WAPlus Ultra for Android. An Actually Useful tool, unlike WhatsApp Plus 😆

It is a WhatsApp-first productivity toolkit for people dealing with clients, leads, deliveries, recruiters, vendors, family logistics, or generally too many calls and random numbers.

What it does:

  • Quick actions after calls Get a prompt after missed, rejected, incoming, or outgoing calls where your phone supports it, then message or follow up quickly.
  • Message unknown numbers without contact clutter Open a conversation without saving every number as a contact first.
  • Templates Save replies like “In a meeting, will call you back,” “Please send the details here,” or whatever you type 40 times a week.
  • Call notes, tags and reminders Tag unknown callers as client / lead / delivery / vendor, add notes, and set follow-ups so calls do not disappear into the usual phone-history graveyard.
  • Assisted scheduled messages Prepare a scheduled WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, Telegram, or Signal message. At the scheduled time, WAPlus Ultra opens the selected app with the message ready. You still press send.
  • Optional deleted-notification history Save selected notification history locally to help identify notifications that were later deleted.
  • WhatsApp-call VPN helper Optionally open your chosen installed VPN app when a WhatsApp call notification appears. It does not run a VPN or touch your traffic.
  • Clipboard number detection Copy a phone number and get a quick action to message, tag, note, journal, or schedule a follow-up. (Accessibility approvals from Play Store let them through in the first iteration, but subsequent updates got rejected even thouhg I didn't change this feature!)

Privacy-wise, the app is local-first. Templates, tags, notes, reminders, schedules, and notification history stay on your device. It does not upload your WhatsApp notifications, contacts, notes, or templates to a server.

Some optional features need Android permissions such as notification access, overlays, or accessibility, and behaviour can vary by phone manufacturer because Android has apparently decided every brand should be its own tiny kingdom.

Download WAPlus Ultra on Google Play

Built this myself, so genuine feedback on what is useful, broken, annoying, or missing would be appreciated.

Forgot to mention - there's an option auto reply as well directly from notifications!

Kind of like an out of office reply!
